A bit of a strange climate, most notably that record high in April (if that is legit, which it probably is seeing as October has quite a high record high as well). It gets a C- from me. Winters are way way too long and the windchill is always a factor. But, it's got surprisingly high sunshine hours in all seasons...

E+, by inland standards; C–, by maritime standards. Much better as a maritime climate, I'll give it that!

Exact same (58.45°N) latitude as Nyköping.
I'll stay here, thanks. I remember watching Ventusky in January during a moderate phase here and we were 36°C milder than Churchill.
Rediculous.

F. Long, frigid winters, appallingly snow spring warm ups, and cool, rainy summers. At least it’s not rainy year round.

I'd say a strong rest of a chinook from SW in late, late April that travelled solely over interior areas and then smack dab hit Churchill with high wind speeds. It's a higher April record than here that average 9/1 in that month so certainly extremely impressive and anomolous.

Buxton is a subtropical paradise compared to this failed abortion. F------. It's quite crazy to think they have the exact same sun strength as I have

Five months of winter that are a complete write-off vs. no particularly warm months?
I guess April-May look alright for doing winter stuff and July afternoons are pleasant enough if the sun's shining, still can't give this more than an F though.

October-March is pretty good temperature-wise, and snowfall is solid. But April-September is way too cold for my liking, doesn't get enough summer rain or nearly enough warmth. Due to that, I can't rate it higher than a D. I'd take it over any tropical climate though.

I'm not sure how accurate that April record high is, as even Thompson, Manitoba, a place much more inland and south with average April high temps 10 C warmer than Churchill, has a record high only about 1 C warmer. Also, the May record high being only 0.7 C warmer seems kinda weird. That record high is nearly 30 C warmer than the average high in the last day of April!
