It's a C- for me as the cold is extreme by North American standards (which are pretty cold). It's too dry but there is little chance of any melting from late October to late April which is a plus in such a climate. -41 in October is damn cold! The summers are very good with a decent (but not substantial) amount of thunderstorm activity.

E. Winter is way too cool and long it somehow has A+ snowfall amount and distribution. Summer is too cool and it would suck having the wet season during the only warm time. It’s also interesting and variable enough. Not good but definitely could be worse.
I spent the night there back in 2013. There were more RV villages there than any other place I’ve been. Was a scenic area though...

C-, October through April are good temperature-wise, and it's a really interesting climate. But it's way too dry, too cool in summer, and not snowy enough.

E-. Nice record highs in summer, but -12 in July is harsh.

F
Those winter temps make the rest unsalvageable.

E-. Nice record highs in summer, but -12 in July is harsh. That -12 C in July has to be an error....I can somewhat believe the 16 F (-9 C) in June and 13 F (-11 C) in August, but the 10 F in July seems highly unlikely.

Damn, those lows are brutal, especially the record lows. East-Siberian style. Wonder if there ever was a summer season (Jun-Aug) without subfreezing lows there?

Its humidity levels are low in summer despite that being the wet season. That July record low is brutal but I don't doubt it's gotten that cold there. A few years ago I saw a pic of an unofficial thermometer reading of -78F. Can't remember which month though.

I think that was January 2009, another unofficial source in that area recorded -80 F as well I believe. Ridiculous lol Tok's observations are taken from nearby Northway, which has a July record low of 32 F (0 C) so I'm highly skeptical of that 10 F (-12 C). Northway's lows do seem a bit warmer (with colder highs as well) but I don't think there'd be a discrepancy of 22 F between Tok and Northway. The August record low seems plausible however, as Northway has a record low of 12 F (-11 C) in August.

With such brutally cold winters I can't rate it higher than an E. It appears to have something vaguely resembling a summer, which saves it from an F grade. I'd rather live here than Campbell Island.

This, I thought F at first when I saw those winters but it's probably relatively sunny, plus May-August afternoons look decent-ish, so E. It's not like one of those climates where there's literally nothing to look forward to.
