Mount Carmel is an elevated area of the Haifa region that is way more moderate than the hot coastline. While firmly Csa, at only 475 metres of elevation is more resembles a Csb in many aspects compared to Haifa's airport and downtown, except that Haifa's hot summer nights reach all the way up there. Not as extreme, but still. Instead, days are being lowered far more than on the coast. For me this is a B- Summer highs are wonderful, but lows are simply too hot. Winters would be sort of annoying at times with cold rain, but there would many fine days with decent sunshine around there.  |

Shithouse diurnal range, but rainfall is great and temps are decent enough. August looks too annoying and samey as well, wtf is that 34.9C record high? Even if it's humid most of the time, surely they have a day or two where proper dry heat comes through?

Also, a maritime place that is elevated isn't happy hunting ground for 40°C temps  |

D-. Too mild, boring, rainy winters and boring, storm-less summers with hot nights. Still generally comfortable though.
