I had no idea I'd ever find an A climate in Thailand. Albeit it's a mountain top and not somewhere you can actually live, but still! Too bad it's got 2000mm of very unevenly distributed precipitation. Otherwise it could've been A+!

The UV there will be very bad news indeed, aside from that it's very solid. April a bit hotter than I'd like for peak summer. B.

With that much rain and cold London style summers it would get a D.

I was referring to June-July-August. It doesn't have a summer in June-August because it's within the tropics.

I was referring to June-July-August. It doesn't have a summer in June-August because it's within the tropics. Summer in the NH is June-August. Tropical climates of this type don't have their warmest temperatures in summer. They have their wet season in summer, often with the coolest temps. I see no rainfall figures for this climate - but it looks like it would "Aw". "Aw" = tropical savannah with winter dry season (Dec-Feb) "As" = tropical savannah with summer dry season (Jun-Aug)

C-. If I have to go without a winter, this is how I would do it - but lower the temperatures in all months a bit. Wellington (NZ) is my favorite "winterless" climate. I wouldn't take this over KC, but I would over a place like Mobile.

B, quite good, but I think I would be happier further down the mountain 😂
I don't think the rain is that uneven. If it's like Chiang Mai it will have no significant rain from Dec - Mar, a peak in Aug - Sep and then every other month has 50 - 150 mm.

C-
I'm sure it cops some goods storms and what not but the temps are too cool for a tropical climate (bar March, April, May). If all the months were like April it'd be a B climate.

It might have comfortable temps but it’s certainly not comfortable with all that rain. F.

B. But why is April the warmest month?

The precip is good, probably gets the right amount of sunshine, but the climate is way too similar year-round. E.

As well it is far from sea. I like Pattaya certainly more. Sure, buddy. The "sea" 😜😂

B. But why is April the warmest month? It's within the tropics so their sun is at its strongest before the solstice. And in May the monsoon season starts.

Low-information climate box means I can't rate. Would need record temps and precipitation figures.

Solid B. On a global scale still very good but there are so many better climates in Thailand.
