So with the NASCAR race there today I thought it might be a place to rate  C+ for me. Keep in mind that's 375 mm, it's in cm rather than mm for some reason.  Way too hot summers, but winters should be very plesant. Don't like the wildfire risk one bit though. |

Rain in the wrong season and cool summer nights. Liveable though quite acceptably. C.

Horrible climate. Ugly vegetation there as well. It's in a big valley so that doesn't help anything either.

D. It's not lower because it has some interesting, if not pleasant, features. Those record temperatures fascinate me. Often in California, especially on the coast, one can find places where the record low in January is -4C and the record low in May is -3C, or something similar. I've always wondered how and why that can happen in such a warm climate.
I guess it would be interesting to experience 100F in October, and at least it's seasonal with possibility of heavy frost and rarely snow. There are far, far worse climates out there.

Too warm and sunny, but relatively comfortable. Average precipitation is decent but we all know how much that can vary year to year.
I actually watched this race at my parent's house today. Kevin Harvick was going for win #4 in a row but bumped the wall early in the race and never recovered. Don't have much stats off hand but I did see that Jeff Gordon won 4 races in a row in 1998 and Darrell Waltrip pulled it off in 1981.
