Halifax for the slightly warmer summers and falls and higher sunshine, plus the fact that it’s much further south which means higher sun angle and longer winter days.
I also like Halifax's distribution of sunshine and precipitation - the winters manage to stay relatively sunny and have fewer precipitation days than I would expect based on the precipitation totals. It’s even wetter than Vancouver and yet somehow has substantially more sunshine in the winter.
Stockholm is just too dreary and doesn’t stay warm for long enough for me.

Halifax, its mild autumn and prolongation of summer into august compensates well for a slightly chilly may. It seems much more interesting overall as well with nor'easters.

Halifax, not only is its warm season longer but its sun is far stronger than Stockholms. That and if I want warmer summer temps inland nova scotia offers upper 70s to near 80. Also Halifax gets far more pwoerful mid latitude storms , and even tropical systems. Unlike Stockholm
