That is why I have no hope of an average summer this year.
2018 could be the cloudiest year on record. There is no let up.

The horror show so far... Holy shit, I didn't realise it's been THAT cloudy 😮. Temperatures look normal, but that lack of sunshine is ridiculous. Fuck.

Maybe thats why I've become really intolerant to overcast weather these past months...

Meanwhile Stornoway recorded 180 hours in April! I'm slowly going insane. The 1960s cloudy period lasted a decade but even that had sunnier summers (June 213, July 190, Aug 170).

It is highly unlikely that we will get anything other than a cloudy year.

After that it's below average temperatures and sunshine though.
We've had enough below average cloudy rubbish already this year. The jet will soon take up its modern location right over the UK, and destroy summer as it has done since 2007.

We always get temperatures around 30c every summer.

So, very hot April 20, above-average temps on average, but still both sunnier and wetter than normal:

The horror show so far... I already was like "can't this B87 just stop moaning about sunshine", but now I realise that you weren't exaggerating at all... Appalling levels of sun the past two months.
