BungholeActually has something called "seasons". Yup, it has a cold season, a slightly less cold season, a somewhat cold season, and a very cold season. Those are Bunghole's seasons

Bunghole is better but only because it gets snow and it has an actual summer. Bogota gets some good thunderstorms and massive hail storms though, so it's not a completely boring climate.

Bogota is a great climate I thought you liked sunshine. Maybe he hopes the strong equatorial sun will be sufficient enough through the clouds. I've never been there but at any rate, direct sun is definitely preferable...

Went with Bogota actually. Very prone to storms and no winters.

My brother-in-law's side of the family is from Bogota and they always talk about how gloomy and chilly it is. I imagine the cloud cover there is quite thick that the brutal tropical sun can't burn through it. Of course, orographic lift does create thicker clouds than low altitude places.

Places like Ipiales and Pasto look even worse. I was expecting Ipiales to be way wetter than it is, probably on the leeward side of the mountain.

Never been to Bogota, but even on the equator if it's cloudy enough the sun has no effect

Bogota is a great climate I thought you liked sunshine. Yes but 1300h is the same as Trondheim recorded and they seem to be able to have nice weather anyway. And although I wasn't thinking about it, equatorial suns are a lot hotter through clouds. You need pretty thick clouds to block the zenith sun.

You need pretty thick clouds to block the zenith sun. When a climate should be compared to the likes of fucken Trondheim, then that's when you know it is a lethally cloudy climate; suicidal, so to speak. But of course, Sweden is already lethally cloudy...the only difference? It's also fucken dry
