For all photos taken today onwards, let those start to flow! The NH spring/SH autumn thread remains open for remaining photos from May of course

Ah ah, so we are at the summer/winter thread already That's just perfect, because today in here actually feels much more summer-ish than in the last few days. As a comparison, this was yesterday morning: Bussoleno train station, looking toward France, 8 am: Sky over Turin during lunch time (that's the back of my university) Some really harmless clouds only in the late afternoon (here the view from my village at 7:30 pm). Also notice that, albeit the longer day length, my village is already in the shadow at that hour. The weather should remain like this also tomorrow, while starting from Sunday it will rain again... Bonus picture: the notice board of my department (Chemistry). In particular, notice the marijuana on the upper left side, just below "Chemfun" and just above the newspapers clipping about all the ex-students who started to cook meth in a camper.

Yesterday we got a meagre rainfall. I'd approximate it to about 3mm. Enough to smack me in the face with the smell of wet tarmac on a summer's day as I stepped off the bus, but that's aboit it. Before that we didn't have any rain in May except for a couple of rain days in the first week. Almost all of Sweden has got fire hazard warnings in place now, including where I'm at. Despite the drought, the landscape is very lush. Any field prepared for sod is bone dry though. Here's me copying Ariete. Here you can see the stark difference betweeb prepared and unprepared soil. I have no idea how the fields have stayed so green with soil looking like it does. I mean, even this water run-off ditch is bone dry, and it rained a little yesterday. Certainly doesn't look fire hazardy to me. Saw some smoke a few hundred meters away. Hopefully, and probably, it's just someone burning leaves or something. Seems very stupid considering there's a fire hazard warning going on...

Second pic with the snow capped mountains in the back is my favorite. Stunning!

Clearly not my photo, but this storm over London looks epic. what day was that? It doesn't say exactly, it's was a gallery of the best images from May 26th to June 1st. Pretty much British summer time anyway given the conditions.

Strewthless There's something very Tesla-esque about that photo. Not the gay Elon Musk Tesla but Nikola Tesla.

Went to downtown Vancouver yesterday and got a cool pic of the buildings and the dark sky. Rained only a trace.

A few photos from Kloogaranna beach west of Tallinn. 23°C, the water seemed to be around 18°C. Jajajaja Estonia is arctic desert rock with no handsome rain

A few images from last weekend taken by me in Trondheim city hills (Bymarka), ca 300 m ASL. People were sunbathing on the rocky slopes and taking a bath in this small lake
Hiking up a small rocky hill with pines
Now from this weekend, first in June Near a creek where nature has been left in charge, ca 130 m ASL, in a residential area not far from where I live.
Tree with yellow flowers is Laburnum (no: Gullregn).

Those pictures from the lake with those pines looks like it could be in some highland area of California.

^^ There was still light towards the north landing at Orly airport yesterday at 11:20 pm. Pics from a hike in the hills west of Cannes: Poor visibility by the sea. It's around 20°C but foggy, pretty sticky atmosphere. Nissa la bella Jacaranda Looks different from Lille. Hard to see on the pic but there's still a lot of snow on the mountains: Fortunately I had already had dinner.
