Nice, no oppressive 900 pixel image width limit like in the official forum.

Yeah, the pictures look nice here tbf. Sensible size, and good background colour. A bit brighter too, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, this is 58.45 N unfortunately So plenty of isolated leaves. The trees will be coloured very shortly. Are the trees already autumn-leaved up where you are Baba?

Foliage is still pretty green mostly. A lot of trees have a few leaves or tiny sections that are discolored. Some trees are completely orange though. Most birches have some color in them though. This the fields of Tavelsjö. I actually haven't taken any pictures of foliage yet. Might have to.

That's rather surprisingly green! It looks more green than near Kolmården south of where I live when I rode the train the other day

Btw, are these clouds weird or are they normal? Also, haze and stuff in the air doesn't exist here. I had never been able to look at the sun before I went to Greece. Here the sun needs to be far below the horizon to create any interesting colors at all, and unless there are clouds, it's not going to be beautiful at all pretty much. In Greece the sky could be on fire even when there weren't any clouds and even when the sun was like 10 degrees off the horizon. Crazy.

There's an overtly fallish look going on here. Some trees are completely green, some with spots of fall coloring and some completely fallish. The atmosphere is incredibly fallish either way though.

Typical fall weather today with a surprisingly warm high of 17°C. I was actually wearing shorts when I took this.

Estonia's nature is so similar to ours its scary How is it scary? They're basically the exact same country geographically speaking. I'd be more scared if there actually were any noticable differences.

Yes but Estonia is colder in winter than here and has cooler summer nights et cetera, so I would expect it to look more like a cross between Sundsvall and Umeå than Nyköping Doesn't he live a bit inland as well?

Unfortunately I live in a pocket of deciduous trees about 15-20 km inland near Tallinn where it looks like Germany. The rest of the country is much more coniferous and northern looking. It's always bittersweet when I visit relatives and realize how beautiful the nature is starting from 20 km away in any direction.

Raz' valley looks like Borat's: is nice great success Hiromant, well I'm sorry, I mixed you up with Anthyik's (spelling?) location within Estonia... he lives a bit inland. Having said that, your nature looks most similar to the one I grew up with in Norrtälje at 59.45 N and also quite a lot similar to the one in Örebro inland at 59.15 N but somehow not as similar to here (58.45N by the coast). I reckon the plant hardiness is a bit lower here than in your area and the two aforementioned areas. What would you say your normal January averages are? -2/-9? Örebro is 0/-6 but at higher ground like Kilsbergen it likely is more like -2/-8 which would be more in line with your place. Those lakes around Ånnaboda Cottage are absolutely phenomenal. I've been there once in August '14 but unfortunately didn't take any photos

Trees are still mostly green but some wild streaks of red have appeared.
