I went on a stadium tour of Old Toilet back in 2005. It was miles ahead of every other club stadium in the country. Only the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff had more modern facilities. That year was also the last time the stadium had any kind of major renovation work. It's crazy to see that level of neglect by such a big club, most of their rivals now have more modern stadiums, or are planning on building them.
Kuopio Väre Areena, the home of KuPS, the current league leader in the Finnish league. They play on this piece of shit:
Plan of the new possible stadium, which has been "work in progress" for 10 fucken years:
Yeah, can't feel much sympathy for Cold Trafford.

There's probably hockey arenas in Finland with higher capacities than that, lol.

As much as I loathe Man United, they’re one of the last few big clubs with a proper ground. It needs a bit of modernising but it would be pretty sad to see yet another club move into a generic, soulless bowl like the Spurs Stadium.

I think Liverpool have done a good job of improving Anfield, whilst maintaining their sense of tradition. I remember the previous owners wanting to relocate to Stanley Park. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Park_Stadium

Can’t see Liverpool ever relocating.

When the current owners took over, they were puzzled by all the chatter about needing a new stadium, they said Anfield is beautiful and can easily be expanded.
Besides Everton beat us to the prime real estate, right on the waterfront. Ngl, I'm kinda jealous.

Would've been great to see Highbury expanded instead of building the Emirates. Unfortunately it wasn't possible as Highbury was in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

The Emirates is an incredible stadium, but Arsenal have never recovered from the cost. Wenger gets way too much hate, he kept the club competitive when the higher-ups were tightening their purse strings.

Looks like Lewandowski is finally heading to Barcelona
He’s a generational player. But for various reasons, he will probably score a lot less goals in Spain than in the Bundesliga

Arsenal seem to be having a decent transfer window for once. We'll see if that translates to bigger and better things in the upcoming season. I suspect a 4th-6th place finish in the league but could win a cup competition.

Tbf Bayern is the last team that should be bitching about other teams buying players.

Tbf Bayern is the last team that should be bitching about other teams buying players. But we know how BUYern do it, they're rich. Everyone's confused how Barca, who are billions in debt and owe their players millions in unpaid wages, are able to spend so freely in the transfer market.

Gotta be one of the most incredulous 0-0 (so far) games ever. Sweden scored a goal, then they went into VAR and despite not a single expert being able to make out whether she was offside or not, they decided it was an offside, despite it initially not getting flagged. Then later on they missed a clear handball in the penalty area that wasn't in a natural pose either. Now, 4 minutes later at 81', the stats are 30 vs 2 in terms of attempts...

Wow finally, 1-0 for Sweden less than a minute before the whistle. Valiant effort from Belgium. They didn't make it easy to score, and the goalie made a few nice saves. They didn't get many shots done, but they got quite a lot of 1v1 situations that were thwarted in the last second. 34 vs 3 goal attemps. Absolutely ridiculous.
