He's right that they've burnt through more money any other team in Europe and yet don't have anything to show for it.

Looks like Lukaku is back off to Inter. I don't think he'll be missed by Chelsea, terrible signing. Plenty of talent, but always vanishes in the big games. Mentally weak.

This was an interesting watch. Michael Owen talks about how his injury problems caused his career to rapidly decline from winning to Balon d'Or to sitting on the bench for Stoke.
It's one thing people outside the game perhaps don't grasp, how psychologically challenging injuries are to a footballer. It's common for players to sink into clinical depression if injuries start to derail their career.

I went on a stadium tour of Old Toilet back in 2005. It was miles ahead of every other club stadium in the country. Only the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff had more modern facilities. That year was also the last time the stadium had any kind of major renovation work. It's crazy to see that level of neglect by such a big club, most of their rivals now have more modern stadiums, or are planning on building them.
