Liverpool got quite an easy group. While Atalanta and Ajax can cause some problems, they are definitely weaker than the likes of Inter, Leipzig, Atlรฉtico and company. Midtjylland and Ferencvaros are definitely the poorest sides in the competition.

Atalanta arenโt weak at all, they were minutes away from being in the Semi Final last year. Their offense can go riot against anyone, Inter are a much weaker side I think
Group B looks tough, no bad teams all throughout the group. Monchengladbach are strong as well
Group F can be the most entertaining. Borussia Dortmund and Lazio donโt give a crap about defense but have some of the best attackers. In b4 they play a gritty 0-0 game
Group H looks rough, yikes. Two semifinalists with United

Manchester United conceded 6 goals yesterday, and somehow that wasnโt even the worst defensive performance from a big team this weekend. What the hell

What about Villa beating Liverpool 7-2?

The leeds-city game yesterday was pretty entertaining. Bielsa's turned what was a mid-table championship side into genuine PL top 6 contenders IMO.

What about Villa beating Liverpool 7-2? Yeah that was even more shocking. Liverpool had one of the best defenses in the world past few years this year could have a very exciting top 6 race. I think Everton and Leeds can be very dangerous challengers

Finland beat Bulgaria 2-0 at home after a rather mediocre showing. Didn't know that this was only the 9th match between the countries, and this was Finland's first ever win. Ireland at home on Tuesday, which will be only the 9th match ever against them. Rather few games played between countries that have been on the map for pretty long. Record amount of matches played against is obviously Sweden, with 89 encounters.
France away in November in a pointless friendly, and I anticipate a 0-5 loss, so now let's enjoy some winning.
edit: WTF bror? Brilliant defending and goalkeeping by Estonia resulting in an own goal. The goalkeeper was taking a piss? streamja.com/dm9bv

I think Everton and Leeds can be very dangerous challengers They're not really a great defensive team, rather they usually believe that attack is the best form of defence. Keep the other team under so much pressure due to constant gegen-pressing up the field and wave after wave of attack. Klopp's usually willing to take the chance that their attack and pressing is so good that they won't need to defend much. That's why Alexander-Arnold is at right back, poor defender, but excellent at pushing forward and attacking. If other teams can put the back four under pressure they can often buckle, especially when they don't have the calmness of Allison back there to reassure everyone. Not sure about this reckless offside trap they're employing at the moment, either. Parking on the halfway line and trying to catch the other team offside is too risky, knock a ball over the top at the right moment and it's an easy 1v1 situation. Everton and Leeds will not be challengers.

Jeez the Spanish team is really aging www.futhead.com/21/nations/spain/ All of the best players are far past their prime. Could be an ugly few years for their national team

Nice that Whales won yesterday and are thus one point ahead of Finland. That means that we don't have to lose on purpose in order to avoid promotion. Wales enjoy being assraped next year by France, Italy and Spain in the A League while Finland has fun against Israel and Ireland in League B.

And the reward will follow, with losses twice to France and Sweden, and home managing an 1-1 tie against England because England is shite. Mark my words.

Poland beat us 5-1 last week. Just embrace your National Team's mediocricity and enjoy beating Ireland and Bulgaria... And Finland, that one goal is the only one we have conceded so far in the Nations League. Strewth!

I do accept our mediocrity, but I take no joy in beating fellow mediocre teams. I long for another underdog story, like when Wales repeatedly raped Belgium or when Liverpool somehow managed not to concede 10 against Aston Villa.

Yeah I realise that you have a prouder football history, but for me it's fun to beat other teams that aren't like... Estonia.
Finland's record against France is 0-0-8 with a 3-18 goal difference, so not eager to meet them next month, but instead Whales we can beat. That brings some joy.

Liverpool got shafted by the officials. Read the comments, even Everton and Man Utd fans are saying the decisions were BS. I don't now how highly paid officals can make such appalling decisions even with the technology helping them. The standard of officiating will be the death of the Premier League if things continue like they have so far this year.
