Corona got its first casualty in Finnish football. AC Kajaani which was relegated from the 2nd tier filed for bankruptcy. Of course the region is the poorest in Finland, and Kajaani has no redeeming features in general either.
Well, the club was plastic in the first place, so I won't miss them much.

Wrexham was potentially saved by 'rona due to the season being voided in the middle of their relegation battle. When it's your year, it's your year.
Although years of bad luck got them down there to begin with. We hold the record in British football for most points in a season without being promoted, 98. That year Fleetwood town maded 104 points, and they had some guy up front called Jamie Vardy scoring lots and lots of goals for them.

Jamie Vardy kinda looks like a bird in that picture lol
Yeah pretty poor luck. Also nearby Liverpool got the most points ever without winning the league which is pretty unlucky

In my lifetime I'd seen Liverpool finish 2nd 5/6 times, multiple champions league finals, it was really frustrating to be a great team for so long, but won no league titles. I suppose Tottenham now feel the same. Although they never had the status of the giants of English football. If I were to pick a neutral side, I would pick Tottenham, very inoffensive. But a great team to watch, with lots of likable players.

Yeah I like Tottenham a lot, and have been following them because theyโre really popuLar in Korea for obvious reasons lol. Always a good convo starter
do feel bad for them a lot. Finished 2nd or 3rd in numerous seasons, and then the heartbreaking loss in the CL Final

Yeah also in 15/16 in any other year everyone (neutrals) wouldโve been rooting for them, but instead we got...well you know

Grrr, the video isn't available in this country though I know the match you're talking about. Probably will be a looong time before there is another Russian scoring a hat trick in the EPL

Pukki had his 100th appearance in the Norwich jersey this afternoon, and celebrated with his 49th and 50th goal for the club. Not bad. He was also awarded his first yellow card of the season with a cynical foul.

Ronaldo vs Man United in a friendly, ack in 2003, his performance that earned him a United contract. Apparently after the game the Man Utd players all approached Fergie telling him to put in a bid for him. He was quickly signed as their replacement for David Beckham.

I can see why. Wikipedia said that Utd were signing CR anyway, but Sir Alex wanted to send him back to Sporting for the season. The players intervened saying that would be crazy, he's ready for the Premier League.

All of the top PL teams drew this weekend. Actually the top half of the table is super close. Man City with their shitty season are somehow only 5 points behind the leaders, and thatโs with a game in hand
Serie A and La Liga look super close too, but I imagine the usual suspects will win again, as they do every year
AC Milan look great this year though. Hope they can launch a title race

Top teams are struggling with the intense fixture list, tried to push for 5 subs but weaker teams voted against it. Liverpool have so many injuries, no idea how we're still up the top.

Lmao Arsenal are 15th, and 16th in goals scored. I canโt even see them getting much better
Somehow will still dominate in cup competition though
