Lmao Arsenal are 15th, and 16th in goals scored. I canโt even see them getting much better Somehow will still dominate in cup competition though Media now view them as being in a relegation battle. #WengerIn Donโt think they will ever get relegated, but finishing mid-table for several years in a row for a club of Arsenalโs stature is embarrassing. They were 8th last year and havenโt finished in the top 4 since the Leicester season

They were 8th last year and havenโt finished in the top 4 since the Leicester season This is their worst start in almost 50 years. Fun fact, if they get relegated it will be the end of their 103 year stay in the top division, the longest unbroken run. They are also technically the only team not to have earned their place there. They were "elected" into the top tier. The team to have been in the top tier the longest overall, are Everton, who have only missed 4 seasons at the top since 1888.

All Pukki's 50 goals for Norwich. It's easy when you know what to do.

Forgot how boring Mourinho teams are to watch, glad we beat them.

I think Mourinho does play exciting football against lower table teams. Just gets very boring against top teams, and that's where his reputation comes from. Pretty much the opposite of LVG lol
Bummed about the result, would rather have Tottenham win than Liverpool

I don't see us picking up any points against Everton or Chelsea. This could be the worst arsenal season since the mid 70s when we finished 15th/16th. Never thought I'd ever see us dropping below mid table yet here we are.

Serie A looks interesting. AC Milan, Inter, Roma, and Napoli all playing really well. Also Atalanta can be challenging too if they regain their form back, they've been wildly out of form since a couple of months ago

Nice, every goal was a scorcher. We are Christmas #1.

Ok VAR isn't always bad.
(Marcus Thuram spits a Hoffenheim player in the face and gets sent off)

The two teams at the top of the table at the current moment are both from the city of Liverpool. Food for thought
Woah Arsenal are 15th at Christmas. Don't think even Manchester United last year started off this poorly

Similar to the mid-1980's rn. When Liverpool and Everton a few title races against each other.
I do still see Man City as the main danger. They're the only rival who are capable of hitting form and winning 10 games in a row to put the pressure on.

Though I wouldnt forget Tottenham, they are legit playing very well this year

I'd wait to see how Tottenham respond to the Liverpool loss. That kind of loss can be hard to bounce back from mentally, and Liverpool have sent out a big statement with that 7-0.
Mourinho has also entered sulk mode, which is rarely a good sign for the teams he coaches.

I agree, that was a tough loss, and kind of an unlucky one. Leicester had a similar loss against Arsenal in the second half of 15/15, and I thought it would completely deflate them, but somehow they came back stronger. Hopefully Tottenham don't let it go to their head

I wouldn't say Tottenham were unlucky. They wasted some good chances, but they were decisively outplayed, and Liverpool should have had a penalty in the first half.

Barcelona playing very poorly too. Already 8 points behind Atleti, and Atletico has an extra game in hand.

Could be Arsenal's worst season since '75-76. We ended up finishing 16th that season...

Don't think we'll get relegated. 13th-16th place finish is looking very likely at the moment if things don't improve.
