They need to give Roy a bottle of whiskey and set him loose in the Irish dressing room.

An expected 3-1 loss to Real Madrid, a glimmer of hope with the away goal, but this isn't the Liverpool team of 2019. A 2-0 win would do for Liverpool, but I think this tie is done and dusted. Man City look the favourites, and frighteningly prepared to win a quadruple, with Messi possibly joining them next season.

But dunno, this could be their year EPL is in danger of becoming the Bayernliga or Serie Juve if this keeps continuing

Liverpool are likely to bounce back next season when fans are allowed back in stadiums. I think they rely on atmosphere more than anyone. For one you have Chelsea, glamorous and have endless pockets like Man City. Ofc Man Utd still being the richest club in the world, a sleeping giant with crap management. Plenty of teams can win the title with the right strategy.

Both are favourites ahead of Man City, imo.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a routine victory for Bayern. But I'm usually wrong with my predictions this season

Wales have contingency plans in case Giggs can't manage the team at the Euros.
I say put his brother in charge that'll make a nice change.

Ligue 1 had the most recent "surprise" winner in the top 5 leagues (Monaco in 16/17) so it can actually have moments of real competitiveness. Meanwhile Italy and Germany have had the same team win for a decade in a row (might end this year in Italy), and Spain is just Real and Barca back and forth except for that one freak Atleti year which seems farther and farther away

The lack of French sides performing well in European Cups, going back many years, is also evidence of poor depth.

Typical frustrating Liverpool performance this evening, lots of chances but sloppy finishing.

UEFA Europa League: Rangers FC v SK Slavia Praha Last updated 04/14/2021 19:02
Following an investigation conducted by a UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector regarding the incidents that occurred during the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League Round of 16 second leg match between Rangers FC and SK Slavia Praha on 18 March 2021, and the subsequent proceedings opened against Mr. Ondřej Kúdela and Mr. Glen Kamara, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has taken the following decisions:
- To suspend SK Slavia Praha player, Mr. Ondřej Kúdela, for the next ten (10) UEFA club and representative team competition matches for which he would otherwise be eligible to play, for racist behaviour, which includes the one-match provisional suspension served by the player during SK Slavia Praha’s 2020/21 UEFA Europa League quarter-final first leg match against Arsenal FC on 8 April 2021.
- To suspend Rangers FC player, Mr. Glen Kamara, for three (3) UEFA club competition matches for which he would otherwise be eligible to play, for assaulting another player.
Kúdela's ban includes the EURO 2020 (2021) matches, Kamara's only Rangers matches. Nice.

Haha fuck Man City. No quadruple for you. They lost 2 out of their past 5 EPL matches too. They're not untouchable If they lose one more match in the league they won't even reach 90 points Arsenal are still 9th in the league
