Sporting CP officially wins the title! Their first since 2002, the year before Cristiano came up for them Atalanta and Milan both won their games today. If both teams win one more match, Juve will automatically finish below them. Juve has to win both of their remaining games and hope that Napoli messes up Hopefully Milan qualify for the UCL. They've always been my favourite italian side so it's nice to see them finally back where they belong this season after a very poor past 7-8 years. |

As well as really exciting Atalanta and Napoli sides I believe there's a saying in Italian football that when both Milan clubs are doing well, Italian football does well in general. I think there's some truth to that - Serie A hasn't been the same since both Inter and Milan declined, and Milan basically carried Italy in Europe for years (Juve haven't won a European trophy for over 20 years ffs). |

Rafa wants to return to England, and maybe Italy as his 2nd choice, he thinks the other leagues are crap and don't provide the opportunity for new teams to establish themsleves at the top as a realistic project.
I think this is the advantage the BPL has right now. Not the players, not the finances, it has the best managers.
Even legendary managers are willing to take chances on teams like Everton or Tottenham.
