A part of me wanted Utd to win that, just so they stick with Ole for a bit longer. Average manager, out of his depth Tbf this is the first time since Fergie left that United finished top three in consecutive seasons. Mourinho or LVG were worse

Tbf this is the first time since Fergie left that United finished top three in consecutive seasons. Mourinho or LVG were worse They won trophies. Finishing top-4 consistently is important too. I’d rather Manchester United get a top manager like Allegri or Pochettino, but Ole has been a decent stopgap. Much more interesting football than any post-Fergie era manager too

Feels like there is a merry-go-round of managers this season. Bayern will have a new manager, RBL will have a new manager, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Napoli, Roma...very likely that Juventus, PSG, and Tottenham get new managers as well. Can't remember last time there was such a huge turnover

Niki Mäenpää. A Finnish former international goalkeeper who sat on the bench much of the time since he moved to England, did something amazing today. He was signed as a backup for Venezia FC in January, but when their 1st goalkeeper got injured, Mäenpää got his chance, did his job in the final stages of Serie B, played all the playoff games and secured Venezia's promotion into Serie A! At the age of 36.
Mäenpää played 30 games in the Championship for Bristol City in 2 seasons, and sat on the bench for 2 seasons when Brighton and Hove played in the Premier League.
I'm so happy for him! Never give up should be the lesson!

Liverpool moving early, securing Konate for £36 million to partner VVD at CB. With Thiago ahead of them they'll have a much stronger foundation than they had this season.
Poch is talking to Tottenham once again. Baffling that that he seems so eager to leave PSG to return to the team that sacked him. Perhaps retaining Kane will be part of the agreement.

PSG's culture seems toxic. Lots of whining and crybabies on the team, maybe he didn't want to manage those kinds of players

The Estonian National Team won its first match since 26 March 2019 by beating Lithuania 1-0 in the Baltic Cup! Since then they have lost 15 matches and drawn 4. Congratulations!

Hope someone other than France wins. Even England I bet England choke yet again. They're essentially the Toronto Maple Leafs of football.

England have a team that looks like it'll be strong in 3/4 years, some good younger players emerging that are technically more skillful than what the system used to produce. Foden, Sancho, Alexander-Arnold, Mount, etc. I don't expect them to do much in this tournament, with a negative manager like Southgate in charge.
