HJK - Inter Turku yesterday (3-0) has raised questions and an investigation about some players possibly involved in match fixing. I suspected foul play already during the match, so the allegations are completely justified.

Nah, two (AFAIK) individual players (African) are suspected. Inter is a well-managed club with no debt.

Sure. Just like in 2018, 2016, 2014, 2012, 2010, 2008, 2006, 2004, 2002, 2000 etc...
But Hungary has been a major pain in the ass since the 1998 WC qualification, so it's nice to finally beat them in a qualifying match. And especially with this retirement from international football craze we've suffered.

How close were you in 1997? I think you finished third in the group, correct? Ariete

Around 10 seconds away from finishing second. Scored an own goal against Hungary in stoppage time. Most traumatic moment of my life.
We were one goal away in 2007.

I like this new Finland. No bullshit, a nihilistic result is all that matters. Home against Estonia; two defensive substitutions, and playing the extra time at the corner flag.
BTW, hope VAR comes into Nations' League, because we've missed one in both matches so far.

The match was played in Turku.
Wait, one could say. Why weren't you in the stands? My reply was; "well, I would've loved that, but the tickets are €30-50." And this is no shit neither. the prices were really that rediculous.
Attendance was like 4200 of a capacity of 9100.
I really don't know what those ticket prices were about.

What would you pay for a Finland game Ariete? I assume the low quality of the team doesn't help.

Definitely not. In the past years HJK has managed to win Lahti away twice: once in 2016 and the previous was in 2014.
I would be satisfied with a draw tomorrow.

Is it so hard because of the hostile anti-HJK atmosphere making it a bit like visiting Bilbao for Real Madrid?
