It's currently -10C/14F there. Anyway, I give this one a solid B. There's hardly any vegetation but that's no surprise. Basically it gets minus points for being too dry overall but at least the winters are decently snowy.

๐๐ฟMรถrรถn๐๐ฟ why are the record lows during the shoulder seasons colder than during the winter? lol Record lows look really off...only 8F colder than the average? really?

C+; chiefly owing to its dreaded "precipitation" amount Just like a drier, MUCH less exciting Kiandra.

E, a pathetic climate temperature wise. Dryness and sunshine only add insult to injury really. Both cool and very boring.

D.
I like the sunshine but aside from that it's horrendously boring.

D-. No heat, no storms, winter wet season. At least itโs generally dry and sunny so itโs probably pleasant most of the year.
Record lows do look way off.

68% of the precip days are snow days. Thatโs actually pretty good. Still no storms but at least it avoids useless rain. I might just raise it to a D.

Changing my vote to a D+, it's just too dry.

E+; too dry, sunny, and not continental enough. Also those record lows are laughably wrong. The fact winters have the potential to be snowy saves it from an F.

D. It looks like a scenic mountain climate but the weather is too cold and dry. Summer is decent but too cool to feel like summer and too dry. Winter looks like a lot of cold rain or rain/snow mix and not much lasting snowfall. It has a chance of snow in 11 months too, so the growing season must be short.
The record lows are incredible. How can it reach -10C in almost every month?

How can it reach -10C in almost every month? That's the beauty of this climate. I think the record lows would be colder in winter though. But per this data, 68% of precip days are snow days, snow would fall 68% of the time and since lows can be below freezing at any time of the year, there can be accumulating snow at any time of the year, especially since it's relatively close to the equator. There is very little vegetation which is mostly thanks to a long and very dry season...

Also, most of the rain and snow comes outside of the growing season, so it might flow somewhere else before the plants can use it. Snow in the middle of summer would be interesting but not ideal
