Definitively autumn-like in Turin today, it has been like this all over the day Up to my place we are starting to see some snow on the top of the mountains.

Nice sky this morning in Turin. Quite a striking difference in comparison with yesterday too.

Best of September: Twilight surfing after sunset right at the beginning of the month around 8 pm: Penultimate swim of the year on the 4th: Final swim on the 6th. The ladder that is usually is there right at the turn of the bridge had been removed for the season so it was really late; I got ill later that day, but don't think it was related since it was still reasonably mild in the water (about 18°C): Reflections over the river on the 9th: Lots of dew on the 10th: I love the cryptic twilight over town: After my illness, I was finally back on the bike again and went to gorgeous Vivesta in Oxelösund Municipality on I think it was the 17th: First signs of autumn: Got a nasty allergic reaction while standing still on a 31 km trip the day after while I took this picture, but it got quite nice after all: Not that flat road: Wild sunset a couple of days later: Followed by wild clouds: Twilight surfing again, this time after 7 pm under a full moon coming up. Actually the same road as the first picture, but in a reversed direction in order to catch the floodlights, since I was a bit later in the sunset cycle: I really love this picture:

Why do the leaves change so early in Vancouver? Because Vancouver is a frozen polar penguin hellhole.

Some overdo pictures of Venice. They've got a lot of canals. This one leads to open sea They've got narrow streets too In most cases it's just crowded streets Pretty cozy looking buildings throughout Venice This one... Not so much. What an ugly communist-brick tower. It's very important that you don't trespass in this corner. Venice is know for their masks. This one is a bit spooky. Looks like Jabba the hut. I was very surprised to find this shop in Venice!

Feels more like August than October, but a nice day nonetheless. 85°F with a 68°F dewpoint and partly cloudy.

After Venice we went to Budapest. However, by doing so we first had to travel through the alps yet again. There was a river there that seemed pretty dried up. Is it just me who finds the lack of fall colors on the tops of thousand meter high mountains a bit strange? Then we finally got to Budapest. Fuck Paris, Budapest is what Paris' GF says they needn't worry about. Look at the pristine bleach white condition of this building! A bit sketchy though when we saw this on our way to our hotel the night we arrived there. But upon waking up, this legendary dude waved good morning to us after I took this picture, so it's all okay. There really isn't an ugly view in Budapest. Anywhere you look is beautiful. Random buildings have fucking statues (top left corner) what the fuck? These buildings really aren't exceptions. They're the rule. Seriously. Every building on the Pest (eastern) side looks like this. And some buildings are even cooler. This castle is a bit weird because IIRC it was built in the 19th or 20th century. Within the castle walls is a church with pretty cool roof tiles. Huge Asian group tourist getting a picture taken was funny to see. Also, I didn't notice until now, but almost every single one of them was wearing sunglasses lol Don't worry, they didn't only have modern fake castles. And of course, the parliamemt building is pretty neat as well. And of course this one too. I wonder what they're gonna build there. On the Buda side, the architecture isn't quite as majestic, but they've got a lot of lush greenery. There's also a lot of hills, and of course views from those hills onto other hills. Views of the city too. And views of a cool cliff. A very green cliff. But as beautiful as Budapest is on a sunny day, it's just as beautiful after the sun has set. Which of these do you prefer? Vs
