I hope this isn't going to turn into a warm vs cold lover poll but let's see how it shapes up anyway.

Damm, this is hard. Both are boring as fuck...Luxor has 5 months of unpleasant temps but the absolute lack of warmth in Tasiliaq is just as bad...neither one gets thunderstorms...Tasiliaq gets snow but it also gets nasty cold rain...
I really canโt choose. Tasiliaq looks like most of its winter precipitation is snow and summers are at least decently dry...still probably ~40 days of cold rain.
If it was Tasiliaq against that vile Squamish climate posted earlier, Iโd pick it in a heartbeat and something like Phoenix would win handily but with these climates, itโs 2 F/F+ climates.
Im gonna need more time to think about this shit.

Luxor, because at least it has some comfortable months, and even during the summer the nights seem like they offer a break from the horrible daytime heat

Also, I forgot to mention but Tasiilaq gets intense katabatic winds called piteraq which apparently means "that which attacks". The highest speeds are 90 m/s or 200 mph and they usually occur in late autumn and winter. Needless to say, that sounds pretty dangerous...

A+ by maritime standards; on parity with that of South Georgia!

At least in Luxor you have winter to look forward to, whereas Tasillaq is bad in every season.
E vs F.

Tasiilaq, don't think I'd be able to handle a whole year, or multiple years, with zero rainfall and so much scorching sunshine. Also, Tasiilaq looks reasonably snowy in winter. Far from ideal, but much better than Luxor in my estimation.

Luxor. Neither get anything even resembling storms, so I'll take the sunshine and heat.

Tasiiliq. It's boring but it's better than five months (or even a week) of 40ยฐC. It's also in the Arctic which adds spice.

Luxor although lack of rain ruins it.
Still better than the other polar piece of crap

It was already an F, now it's gone down to an F-. By contrast, Luxor is a B for me. Just looked at the current weather for Tasiliaq. Absolutely putrid!

I'd rather live in Siberia - much colder winters but at least they get a little warmth in summer and much sunnier, drier and less windy.

Both are quite bad but I'll go with Tasiliaq. Almost anywhere would be better than a place that can go years on end without a drop of rain.
