Lows about 5F above normal; highs 1F above normal. Interestingly September had a warmer avg low than August and a warmer record low than all of the summer months. Precip amount slightly above normal, but precip days well above normal. I measured less rain than the airport, with 2.93". For the most part storms continued the trend of missing my house, though I got a decent t-storm on September 3. Lowest max: 77F Highest min: 76F Days 90F or above: 17 Highest dewpoint: 76F Avg dewpoint: 72F Lowest dewpoint: 64F Days with thunder: 16

I like all these 5-month long summers in the eastern US. Some really wet places too. Anybody on pace to set a record wet year?
Warm and wet but no extreme weather. 3F above normal. precipitation about twice the normal amount. Month started warm and wet, then it was warm and completely dry for almost two weeks, giving the area time to dry out after the heavy rains and flooding in late August and early September. Then it got wet for a few days, dry for a few days, and finally ended cold and wet. Madison had a low of 33F/+0.6C on the 29th, almost an early freeze. Milwaukee was warmer and didn't come close to a freeze since it's closer to Lake Michigan. Milwaukee: Madison:

Orographic lift makes all the difference! Almost the same rain days but double the rainfall! YVR is flat as a pancake and basically in the ocean for those who don't know, so it's a good benchmark to compare to for the rest of the lower mainland despite not being at all representative except for maybe the western part of Richmond.

Right, that's it. I am DONE waiting for the fucking BOM to finalise September's data. The last day had a high of around 23C, so I will add 0.1C to the avg and will correct in next month's summary if it is wrong, fucken Septictember 2018 was below avg, -0.5C for the highs and a comical -2.3C for lows. Once again, no storms to speak of. Daily obs

The last month was mostly summer-like practically until the 23th, even with the relatively cooler week at the end of the month the monthly values ended above the average. The rain distribution was interesting instead, with my valley being much drier than Turin. Here there is my place: Turin airport: Turin urban area:

Damn seems like a hell of a summer in Seoul! Amazed at those sunshine hours too, isn't it a lot lower usually? You're right, as a result of tracking all the historical data provided on the official website, it appears that this year got an another new record for ALL individual summer months exceed 200 hours. The closest I could find was 1994(JUN 217.9/JUL 191.5/AUG 205.6) which used to be the hottest year before this summer.

Quite a normal September, slightly warmer than average in Norrköping. Here diurnals ranges were a bit narrower as usual.
For Sweden in general, it's noteworthy that inland location Forse (63°N) and coastal Umeå and Luleå had five months above 10°C for the second time in recorded history.
