Massive insult as there is half a year of frigid cold to look forward to Yeah four distinct months with "pleasant" weather surrounded by 8 months of winter. Summer arrived suddenly and it left even more suddenly, especially in Edmonton's case, but only if you look at the snowfall. That April/May warmup is insane!

Luckily we had a normal April unlike the Prairies, but I think us going from a -4.1C mean in March to a 14.7C mean in May was pretty cool, as both are "spring" months.

Helsinki Kumpula, operational since 2006 recorded its warmest Septicember on record, beating 2011 with 0.1C. It also recorded a new Septicember record low, beating 2013 with -0.1C.
