American Beauty Pretty solid film, though it did not age well. Some of the themes seem kinda incelish, also the creepy videotaping, and of course Kevin Spacey’s scandal as well. Though I’m happy for watching it. There were some references towards the movie in Family Guy that finally make sense. The cinematography is fantastic as well. Had a hard time believing that it’s 20 years old, it was extremely well shot I love that film, it's a hoot. But yeah, difficult to watch back a lot of Kevin Spacey stuff now, he was always too convincing at playing the creep.

Guess he is more of a method actor than we realized

Looper—7/10. This was a pleasant surprise, slow sci-fi isn’t usually my type of movie but I liked this one a lot.
Rear Window—8/10. Very good movie.
Catch me if you can—8/10. Did a very good job of making you root for frank even though he is a criminal. Engaging story and characters.
Stripes—4/10. Long, slow and the characters were annoying.

Blade Runner (6/10) - Very overrated. Acting was poor and the storyline was a bit nonsensical at times

Heretic.
Nah, it's not as good as claimed, but I'd still give it a 8/10 because of being one of the pioneers of the genre.

Think it would be amazing under a different director. Would’ve loved to see Kubrick make Blade Runner. Or Christopher Nolan

The Shining—4/10. Very overrated imo. Had some “good” parts the critics would like and the ending was tense but it was doomed by the glacial pace. Every scene was way roo long, drawn out and repetitive. Without the last 45 minutes, this would have been a 2/10. I considered turning it off several times but since I’d heard such good things about it I stuck with it.

Legally Blonde—9/10. Excellent movie, Elle Woods is one of my favorite movie characters ever. It was very funny and more meaningful than a typical comedy. My only complaint is that besides Elle, everyone was an undeveloped, stereotypical stock character.

Arrival (2016) and Dog Day Afternoon (1975). I enjoyed both movies, especially the latter. Arrival isn't the type of SciFi film I'm into (I prefer dystopian movies) but it's good nontheless.

I like Blade Runner for its groundbreaking aesthetics/visual style but Blade Runner 2049 is even better.

Greenland. It is a 2020 disaster movie. Very average, I have expected more.

Dune (US, 1984).
0/10. I couldn't bear more than 40 minutes of it. Utter rubbish, and I didn't even get the plot, as I haven't read the novels. Put ye spice up ye bungholes, Strewth!

Clueless--8/10. After you get past the very unrealistic classroom scenes at the beginning, it's a really good movie. Cher is a great character--such a lovable brat.
I don't know whose idea it as though to make the main character end up dating her step brother...I mean they're only "related" through marriages but it's still borderline incest and you would think at least one character would mention that but apparently no one noticed or cared.

Tenet - Very mediocre, by far the worst Nolan movie that I've seen. Cliched and you don't care about any of the characters on screen

I watched Wayne's World last night. It was alright and is far better than anything on modern day SNL.
