Christmas forecast looking like garbage here too, but not quite as bad as '15 or '16.
Wunderground shows 64/52F on the 24th and 69/55F on the 25th.
However the Canadian model is giving maybe some hope for decent temps.

No snow in the forecast before Chrismas, so it's not looking good. As of the 16th 29/22F on Chrismas Eve, sunny 30/20 on Chrismas, chance of snow, cloudy.

Still too early to get Environment Canada's forecast, but The Weather Network is showing a high of -13C and low of -16C for us on Christmas Eve, which sounds about right. Both they and EC are showing a significant drop in temperatures down to mostly seasonal levels starting on the weekend.

A little too early to say whether there will be proper snow cover on Christmas Eve yet, but it sure is very possible, especially with a high precipitation chance in the days before. The 10 cm currently on the ground could be quite demolished ahead of the weekend though, consecutive 3Β°C highs without a strong frost or diurnal swings is a certain snowkiller here.
