I thought I would start this thread, as we have one for films and books. This could be a good thread to get to know what other people are watching and getting new ideas on what to watch next.
Please submit an IMDB link (or similar) in your post so that others can easily find out what the series is about and so on. You can also rate the series. I'd use a five-star system where * is rubbish and ***** the best thing ever.
So what are you watching rn?

I recently finished two. The first one was Babylon Berlin (2 seasons): www.imdb.com/title/tt4378376/?ref_=nv_sr_1The most expensive German series ever produced, I'd say it's one of the best series I've watched in the last ten years. The third season is airing sometimes in 2019. I'll give it a full *****/***** The second was The Terror (1st season): www.imdb.com/title/tt2708480/?ref_=nv_sr_1It sure was a weird one, but very good. It has a lot of subtle nuances and you have to pay extra much attention, so maybe not the best bedtime series watched when tired. The story was completed with the season finale, and season two coming out in 2019 will have a new one, so who knows what it will be. Anyway, I'll give the first season ****/*****

I've recently watched the first season of True Detective. I'd say it's a masterpiece. McConaughey and Harrelson acted awesome and I liked that the plot had been finished with the end of the season. *****

Just got all caught up on Lucifer. Very good series, nice plot and quite funny. Plus the female detective is smoking hot!

Trailer Park Boys, absolute gold right there. Bubbles is my favorite character. I also like the setting of the show in maritime Canada.

Re-watching Game of Thrones in anticipation of the final season coming out in April. Such a fantastic show, plot line and characters are extremely detailed and connected.

Been binge watching "Designated Survivor" recently, quite a good show. Italia Ricci and Maggie Q are so fucking hot.

I saw the movie of the remake of the "Unknown Soldier" when it was released, but the miniseries were much more in-depth and captivating. www.imdb.com/title/tt4065552/A-

The Mandalorian is pretty good so far, hopefully it won't become as PC as all the latest Star Wars movies.

Been binge watching the Orville, which is light enough to watch while sick. It's pretty good.
Also watched a few crime docuseries on Netflix; the Mccann dissappearance, the pizza bomber, and Don't Fuck with Cats.

watching Babylon Berlin, first series I've followed not in English. Obviously with English subtitles; very well done, seems to capture the historical setting better, plot so intricate it's hard to follow at times and maybe the fact they're not speaking English makes distinct characters harder to notice. Have you seen it @donarnado

Though I'm not really into tv series these days...more into reading

Watching now:
The AmericansโThe first 2 seasons were good but since then itโs gone way downhill. Lots of plotholes, very repetitive episodes, idiot plots, people acting out of character, etc.
Brokenwood MysteriesโVery good murder mystery. Episodes are 1.5 hours but theyโre lighthearted and the characters are enjoyable so I donโt mind.
Recently finished:
Last Man Standing. First 6 seasons were very good then when it came back it fell off a cliff. In addition to being funny, it was very refreshing to have a conservative character.

Peaky Blinders: going through season 1 and it's great so far, setting up a lot of interesting plot points
The Last Dance: watched most of it and it was pretty great although I'm aware it's quite biased, didn't include anything about MJ's australian teammate Luke Longley who's spoken out against MJ before. 7/10 or 8/10 somewhere around there.
Community: I've talked about it quite a lot but it's great, seasons 1-3 are easily 9/10 or so. Never seen season 4 or 5 (heard 5 is very good) but 6 is also an 8/10 or so.
