I think 'Yellowstone' is a great show.... deep into season 4 atm. There is a prequel series playing atm called '1883'. Pretty good as well if you like the Western genera. The narrator/ lead actress Isabel May is a bone fide hottie ! Iโm definitely gonna check out 1883, Iโm always a fan of Westerns. Yellowstone may be good, just not something Iโd want to watch when everyone is so unlikable. That actress is pretty hot btw.

this series stays far more faithful to what Star Wars is supposed to be.
So, rubbish?
I was being flippant before, but yeah, most are bad. I watched the last film on a plane, and people still walked out. But this series is good tbf. Look at the reviews, it's more of a western, based around a bounty hunter, but set in space, with occasional Star Wars themes, and Baby Yoda!

I'm currently watching Merlin and I'm at season 3. Pretty amazing show so far. That was the show of my early to mid teen years. Season 1 is a good intro, seasons 2-4 are fucking great and season 5 is decent. Its a very solid fantasy tv show but havent watched it since it ended in 2014ish.

Is there a new season yet? Saw the 1st and liked it. I still need to watch the latest season of The Expanse as well.

Watched the first episode of Ozark, not for me. I donโt understand how people are willing to invest so many hours in shows where all the characters are unlikable as fuck.

Stranger Things - The first episode kinda gave me X-Files vibes, but with an 80s gloss.

Finished 'Reacher'. Your stock standard good guys V bad guys action series. Based on the character from world wide best selling author Lee Child. The lead charater is a full blown Roidosaurus, so is therefore way more believable that the version played by Tom Cruise in the movies. Obligatory graphic violence with Reacher regularly kicking arse and cracking skulls....and a big man needs a big pistol so natually a 'Desert Eagle' .50 caliber. The one sex scene ( in the shower ), well they shoulda used an actress with bigger boobs, but of course this is a personal observation, otherwise she is a hottie. I give the show a pass mark, perhaps higher as it doesn't require a lot of deep thinking to follow the storyline. ( And I've read all the books so knew what was gunna happen anyway.....)

The Last Kingdom.
Yet another historical fiction set in Anglo-Saxon England during the Viking invasions. A period that's been milked to death, but I'm always game for a historically themed TV series.
It doesn't seem quite as ambitious and as visually impressive as Vikings, but so far the writing has been better. I'm told that TLK is consistent, unlike Vikings which is brilliant for the first 3 seasons, but then crashes hard.

I watched some of that new Pam & Tommy series. I learned a few new things. For one, I was surprised to learn that Tommy Lee has a talking penis.

After Life - It's a dark comedy about a depressed guy who contemplates suicide, but instead he decides that not giving a shit about anything is actually a superpower. He can do whatever he likes and be a towards everyone he meets. We should invite him here, he'd be a perfect fit!

1883, really good. New perspective that you donโt usually get in Westerns and provides a nice unglorified view of life really was for the pioneers. Has its share of entertainment and likable, interesting characters as well.
