As the title says.
I like about 35 thunderstorms a year, most of them high quality ones with lots of thunder and lightning.
I love thunder but if they happened all the time, the novelty would wear off and it would get annoying having a storm every day.
Ideally, 95% of non-snow precipitation would come with a thunderstorm, rain without thunder is pointless imo.

16-30, with 2 peaks in spring and autumn.

60-70 would be a good amount, mainly from mid-spring thru early fall.
Alexandria has around that amount with t-storms throughout the year. Higher frequency in the warmer months, but there can be some intense t-storms even in winter with frontal storm systems.

About 120 (including thundersnow) would be fine. Ideally 3/4th of the days between June and August will see strong thunderstorms, and about half the days in May and September, and about 20 thundersnow days from strong snow squalls during winter.

I'm kinda lameish... I would only like thunder perhaps during some of the winter rainstorms in my dream climate... I'm really more of a "sudden shower" oceanic Cfb-ish climate lover, and those climates tend to have few thunderstorms... I voted 1-5... but really more like 4-8 per year....

I said 101-150. Bring on the storms ! I want severe storms from fronts boundaries in spring with tornados ! I want summer t storms may-October ! Iβd also like some winter thunder storms ! Could be a warm gulf flow type storm like we get sometimes or a cold thunder snow from a powerful storm riding up the coast.
Lots of exclamation points because I love thunderstorms !

20-25, but 90% of them have to be some sort of severity. Quality over quantity. About 50% have to have some hail in them.

Although I love thunderstorms, I don't want them too often. The perfect scenario would be an epic thunderstorm after a long stretch of hot and dry weather. In spring they can be more frequent though.
Voted 16-30

31-45 is enough with about 1 per month in midwinter and about 6 per month in midsummer. Ideally, all thunderstorms should be associated with precipitation. Dry thunder should be as rare as realistically possible because wildfires are bad.

Around 20, once or twice a month with varying severity. Some being light and distant while others being heavy and going for hours.

6-15. One every few weeks during the warm months would be fine. It's usually less than that though.

I think 60-70 is a good range.
We average about 25-35, half of that in recent years, and itβs not enough for me. Give me Central Floridaβs strong PM thunderstorms every 2-3 days in the warm season.

Around 50. 30 during summer and 20 during the shoulder seasons. Occasionally a freak thundersnow event.
Quality over quantity, not some two-thrusts-and-cum style lame-ass shit.

46-70, most of them in late spring and summer, as well as some in early spring and autumn. They can be lame given the quantity, but severe storms should be frequent.
Winter is no season for tstorms tho, and thundersnow can go to hell.

Lol. When someone is really really despising thunderstorms, didn't even bother to check the thread for a vote anyway. To me, thunderstorm seekers who wish lightning struck around them are masochists.
