Dry warmth here yesterday and today with DP around 50F in the afternoon. Got up to 86F today. Low last night was 55F. Becoming more humid towards the weekend. Not much of a precip chance until Saturday. No 90's in the forecast yet, though I'm thinking we may reach 90F for the first time of the year next week. The GFS has been showing some impressive heat next week for AL, GA, SC, FL.

About halfway through May and our average low is -2C, colder than the average low in April at the university weather station and exactly equal to the average low at the airport weather station. What the fuck, nature? Last May was the best I've experienced and this one is the worst. Interesting contrast. Our average high right now is sitting just above 14C, while last May had an average high of 23C (normal is 18C).

11.8C / 2.0C is the hi/lo here, so I feel you bro.
For comparison, April's hi/lo was 12.8C / 1.2C.

After 16 days of May our avg high is 4C colder than our avg high this April
Finally improvement now though, as the Trondheim region is the northernmost forecasted to have mean warm enough for that color on the map and warmer than much of western Europe, so our May will at least move a little towards the May avg.

Head-on hit for the storm on Saturday evening on the 12z NAM. If this verifies, we’re looking at half an inch of precip in an hour, and maybe even some thunder activity.

I'm still waiting for the first warm spell of the year. I don't want hot and humid weather yet but a week of 70s with a thunderstorm or two would be nice right now.
I think I'm even lagging behind parts of Scandinavia. The longest stretch of days with 10C means is just 3 in Milwaukee. April was really close to having 7 straight but the middle day wasn't warm enough. Madison had 6 straight in April.

It's been a very wet week for Southeastern Bangkok with over 100 mm in only three days (5 - 30 mm elsewhere in the city). Temps noticably lower as well. A couple of heavy downpours here and some dry lightning but still no decent thunderstorms.

Californian mountains under a winter storm warning; they might get a break from wildfires this summer since the dry season is so short. Well, at least no big fires.

strange weather pattern yesterday in Northampton, MA. Low 50s and off and on rain till mid-afternoon, then warm humid air spilled in from the south. Daily max was at 7 pm (67°F), 53°F at 3 pm last 7 days huge temperature contrast before the warm air arrived by the MA-CT. Was stuck and frustrating to watch no contrast at 10 pm moisture from the rain + humidity led to ground fog at sunset, especially along the river

87°F high at LEX for the second day in a row. A cold front comes through tomorrow, bringing a couple of days in the mid 70s, before it heats up again the second half of next week.

Balmy, but pleasant morning. Breezy and 67 F/19 C at 9:30AM...headed up to a high of 81 F/27 C with a chance of storms later on. Feels very summery today.
