Remember that splendid picture of the dogs sledding on Greenlandic water? Apparently, that has been awfully misinterpreted by the cretinous media blighters. Also, some lovely truths shown by the Danish Meteorological Institute are also presented—the best institute out there, showing only the honest, unaltered information.

France's new record high temperature was allegedly recorded right next to a highway. I wouldn't be surprised, the US is full of weather stations in parking lots as well.

Hiromant Whence did you source that information? Link it, please.

Here's the google streetview link. Look around, in addition to the highway there's a chain link fence right up against it and massive hangars or greenhouses nearby. It was posted here. I wonder if anyone can confirm this "weather station" is where the record was registered.

It appears the particular station in question (record-holder of 45.9° C)—notwithstanding its rural setting—shows an absolute lack of a Stevenson Screen altogether; thereby, non-standard measurement of the fabled 45.9° C: CORRECTION(S): Upon farther investigation, the equipment is, in fact, standard; accordingly by the WMO; however, it comprises a more compact, rounded form, with fan-operated mechanics by which the thermometer lay astride.

Doom is two decades overdue! I say double the carbon taxes! We must do something! You have already posted that dumb article a few months ago and pretty much ignored my critique. Further proof that you are just a mindless spambot.
You people can't just label everything your side says "overblown alarmism and not real climate change" to wipe it under the rug. Enough with the backpedaling. This sort of baseless hysteria is the official position of world powers, as well as the scientists, the media and the gullible masses they control.

Well, well, well...it appears that the 45.9° C record is fraudulent after all, as it's station ID was a perfect match to that of a rooftop site—which also means that those photographs I had posted earlier were also fradulent, whereby originally sourced from a Frenchman's Twitter account (yes, I actually believed that lying scoundrel of a Frenchman!). How on Earth could I be so blind to miss that?

You just ignored Donar's point: cdweather.boards.net/post/89816Yes, he's an environmental official, not a scientist If you're going to argue against climate change, argue against stuff from scientists or scientific reports. Why do you bother post other stuff? This isn't in the politics subforum. Of the links you posted: 1) The Guardian link — vague; doesn't say how much warming; the lots of warming will hurt people the most seems true 2) Breitbart — it's Breitbart and just political

Little did he know, that Robert Rohde plonker linked to the exact same website of which displays and proves Tony Heller's findings—i.e. within proximity of a major industrial complex; notice the large, grey, T-shaped structure: Not only is the station located near that industrial behemoth, but it shall also bode well to note that the establishment date for this particular station...was merely in 1985 (refer to Date d'ouverture). Mind you, Tony Heller stated that the station in question could be either the rooftop station, or the industrial complex station (the latter of which he claimed was more likely); thus, this petty attempt to launch a smear-campaign against Tony Heller, has been mercilessly sundered. I'd agree that Tony Heller is biased, but so is that Robert Rohdes character, as plainly evident from this scandal.

Are you trying to say the new french record temp is a fraud? Thus far—in regards to this particular 45.9° C reading—indeed. The blighter of whom is certainly a fraud, mind you, is Robert Rohde for attempting to launch a smear-campaign on Tony Heller, Anthony Watts, "and their denier friends", but alas shooting himself in the foot likewise.

nah it really was that hot there. Check Skwentna's forecast... Unfortunately, Alaskan climate data doesn't have very long records since it is a pretty young state still. I am sure it has been above 90F in Anchorage in the past 119 years at least once. Definitely very rare though.

The buildings to the north are a bit close but nothing too bad imho.
