Based on the current C-D weather thread of the same topic, but since we have more serious weather enthusiasts here, let's see if the results turn out differently here than the San Diego victory on C-D. Atlanta, FUCKAAAAAAAAAN!

Atlanta! I appreciate the lush landscape and the fall colors, even if summers are too much, but AC should make it tolerable.

Will post exactly what I did on C-D:
"Atlanta. It's not even close at all. Much more interesting with hotter summers, colder winters, more rain, more thunder, etc. without being an unbearably cold continental climate or a overly warm tropical climate lacking variation."

Why is San Diego so much colder than Los Angeles in every month despite being further south? San Diego is OK, but too cool all year. Highs of 23c in July isn't very impressive for 32n.

There is a cool current directly off the coast. You can go inland to El Cajon for more heat. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Cajon,_California. Places like Santa Monica or Malibu directly on the coast in the LA area are also cooler than downtown LA during the summer.

Atlanta. Need my summers and storms. While San Diego is pleasant, it would drive me batshit mental.

For the south Atlanta is not so bad, but San Diego is a top-grade climate (A-) so an easy win for me.

It does seem like Malibu and Santa Monica are even worse. In that case I choose San Diego for having milder winters.

Tough one. Atlanta marginally, because whereas San Diego has the drier summers, it's semi-arid. Plus Atlanta has better winters, even if their summers are too humid and wet and yucky.

Atlanta but only because it gets thunderstorms and snow. Otherwise, the winters are lacklustre and summers a bit too hot for too long. A hybrid climate of these two -- say Atlanta winters and summers with an average of the Atlanta's and SD's summer temps, and just Atlanta summer precip would be nice. In that scenario, July would be 82/68 with 5.27" of rain and August 82/69 with 3.9" of rain. Perfect summers!
