Very chilly. Don't think there has been a -10°C in Victoria for a while, so now's the chance to get there. Forecast is for Mount Hotham, btw.

Snowed as low as Tumut, NSW, only 277 m AMSL; 35° S: Might have been snowing in Gundagai, too!

In case anyone is interested, I went on a snow chase on Sunday, ikr sounds ridiculous to most here. Yeah great vid. Guess I should share a couple of my own. nah; I lived in a far snowier climate (over 100 cm /year) and I would sometimes take a trip to see snow (esp in early spring / late fall) when it snow in the hills but not at home. A snow video I found on social media

Nice one, I saw a couple of roos myself.
Also to put things into perspective, a 24cm fall of snow is pretty significant for the area I went to.

It appears that another significant snowfall event is underway: I'd wager the snow levels at 36.0°-35.0° S down to about 400-500 m; 600 m at 34.5° S; 750 m at 34.0° S, and lastly 850-900 m at 33.5°-33.0° S (respectively). Yass, NSW could very well receive its 2nd snowfall this year.

Snowing heavily now, forecast down to 500 m accordingly by the South West Slopes regional—just feast your eyes on them juicy radar images (Captains Flat). Temps well below freezing, too:

SST anomalies (as of 26/08/2019); consistently below-average waters in the Southern Ocean, as usual—also explains NZ's relatively poor snow season, by comparison to the stellar Australian snow season. Particularly frigid in the Great Australian Bight, i.e. straddling the entirety of South Australia; South-Eastern WA, and Western Victoria: It is also plainly observed that the water is particularly frigid astride the South Georgia & South Sandwich, South Shetland, and Falkland regionals of the South Atlantic Ocean:
