34 F with a 32 F dew point as of 7 am, not bad wouldn't surprise me if it's below freezing out here where I live as we were cooling off at a much faster pace compared to Dulles last night it seems. There's heavy frost on grass and cars, very nice.

Chilly night in store, forecast low is 30F here Most of the lowland NE will see their first frosts of the year as well, areas west and north the growing season is already over and doesn't get these advisories anymore (aka me and Steelers). Philly and NYC won't drop enough. I think this graphic shows a fine line of how SEPA and NJ aren't quite the same climate wise as places farther west (excluding the Poconos). New Paltz, NY (80 miles north of NYC; went near there 5-6 times over the summer) has a frost advisory. Looks like most of the Hudson Valley and some of interior New England has had frost yet so getting an advisory ...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM EDT SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Temperatures around 33 to 36 degrees will result in frost formation.
* WHERE...In Connecticut, Southern Litchfield County. In New York, Western Columbia, Eastern Schenectady, Western Dutchess, Eastern Greene, Southern Saratoga, Eastern Albany, Western Rensselaer and Eastern Ulster Counties.
* WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 AM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
Northampton, MA has a forecast low of 32°F "areas frost" but no advisory cause the growing season is done. Their first freeze was the 5th. Was near Amherst Tuesday morning; felt chilly, 36°F around sunrise Forecast low of 44°F tonight in NYC; 42°F at my parents' on Long Island I'm not sure of this, but we frosted for the 1st time on October 5th as well, and we've had a freeze 3 times so far (before this morning will be the 4th). I think each county has a date the growing season ends unless there is a freeze (below 32F) beforehand.

FUCK!! Narrowly missed a freeze at Dulles, with a low of 33 F / 0.6 C: w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KIAD.htmlIt likely froze by my house though, car was marking 31 F (-0.6 C) and my car is normally a couple of degrees warmer than what it really is: Maded frost jajajajaja (yes I know the pic is shit quality, sorry about that):

Especially black asphalt is going to lose a lot of heat from radiation.

^ Nah, I've noticed my car thermometer is almost always warmer than the airport OBS even at night and in the morning, although the difference seems to be greater during the day. Where I live doesn't have black asphalt, it's white or gray.
I drive by the NWS Dulles station every morning on the way to work, it always records 2-3 F warmer than the OBS when I drive by it. By my house it usually records the same temp though.

Surprised Vermont still has foliage after the windstorm; lower elevations in southern Vermont not as far ahead. No mountains in the foreground but has its own beauty 🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿

May have first severe weather risk in a while on Monday. Getting into the secondary tornado season (actually for Louisiana I think November is just as active as the spring months).

With a forecast high of 12C, today might be our last day above 10C of the year. Good chance we won't reach this again until March or April.

Today's high/low: 8.5*C/3.1*C -Not a cold day and not warm day, temps near average A few raindrops early today, then mostly cloudy - no rain day and not a dry day No wind, but not completely calm air -not a windy day and not a calm day Clody pretty much all day - so not a sunny day A few glimpse of the sun giving 0.8 hr sun - so not a sunless day
Damn, today really was a non-weather day here!

alex992 I feel like my car is close to the true temperature in the morning, but sunshine makes it read too hot during the day. I can't remember seeing my car read too low, it's equal or warmer.
Edit: Someone in London should hook up their car thermometer to the internet to make a weather station. Then London could get 100F highs all the time

We have upper 60s with mid 50s dews, which is more humid than usual in the last third of October. A nice cool, rainy autumn day today, only 54 F (12.2 C) with rain as of 1 PM temperature should hold steady all day. Will certainly be our second day with highs in the 50s this autumn. A decent amount of rain so far with 0.78" (20 mm) of rain. Tonight will cool off to 45 F (7.2 C) with patchy fog. Much milder tomorrow however.

Yesterday had a 33 (1 c) low, the coldest of the season and very close to being the first freeze.
Supposed to get to the upper 60s today and tomorrow, then looking cooler. There’s a good chance we’ve already had our last 70.
