We officially hit 31.2C yesterday, making September the 5th month this year with a record high above 30C. Our nights also continue to be consistently above average, with the average low for September so far being only 0.2C cooler than the average low for August, the record low for Sept being nearly 2C warmer than August, and no signs of a hard freeze in the forecast yet. Our average high is also nearly 3C warmer than the 30 year averages, and exactly 8C warmer than last September so far.
I expect the temperatures will probably drop before the end of the month but overall this has been a really great September so far, certainly tied with April as the best month of the year relative to average.

Winnipeg is getting a nice final burst of summer heat, 30C with a 19.5C dew point over there at the moment and a forecast low of 20C for tonight. They often get the best heatwaves in the prairie provinces.

So far this September at my latitude (Max/min/maxminmean/24hmean)
Vรคrnes: 15.3/8.2/11.8/11.3 Umeรฅ airport: 15.8/6.6/11.2/11.3 Kronoby airport: 16.0/8.5/12.3/12.1
Conclusion: Finland is Chad, and this time Norway is the cuck. Mean has been identical at Umeรฅ airport and Vรคrnes, the latter of which should be about a degree warmer (or maybe half a degree for the first half). They've also had pouring rain for a week straight now

Probably the most ridiculous forecast I've ever seen firebird1988 That won't happen, we haven't gotten even 6 inches of rain in September before, and those 25ยฐC highs would be consecutive record min highs. Our avg high Monday is still 37.8ยฐC, and 37.2ยฐC Tue thru Thurs

And no sunless days, most days since the poor weather startet Sep 10th have 1-3 hrs with sun recorded. However, only 0.5 hrs of sun on Sep 12th. So far today just 1 hr sun, but sun is out just now. And weather is forecasted a large improvement starting the coming weekend.

Lowest it got here was 48 (9 C) and it turned into yet another beautiful day. High of 76 (24 C) so far.
Weekend will be warm, hopefully some upper 80s then looks seasonably cool to finish the month.
