Only got to 69 (21 C) today, the coolest in almost 2 weeks.
Interesting forecast differenceβNWS shows well above average with mostly mid to high 70s for the next week, TWC says cooler and wetter with a mix of 60s and 70s. Hope we can get some more 80s before fall really sets in.

It's 4C as of 10:00pm tonight so we could potentially drop below freezing tonight. The official forecast low is 4C but of course that seems a bit optimistic given that that's the current temperature... If we don't drop below freezing tonight we almost certainly will this weekend, and we're just narrowly avoiding the apparently historic snowstorm that will be hitting southern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan this weekend as well.

Very sharp contrast to last year's September. Didn't you have a bunch of snow and like multiple -5'C's?

59 F (15.0 C) and partly cloudy this morning here, today will be very warm with a predicted high of 89 F (31.7 C) under mostly sunny skies. Very high diurnal range predicted though with tonight's low predicted at 51 F (10.6 C)! We must be getting a dry front coming through, I wonder how low dew points will get this afternoon.

Very sharp contrast to last year's September. Didn't you have a bunch of snow and like multiple -5'C's? Yeah, last September was 5C below average, and 8C colder than the average for this September so far (though that gap will narrow with the much colder temperatures these next few days). We got a bunch of snow on the morning of the day of the equinox last year, first time I'd ever seen snow in September, and some well below freezing lows those last few days of the month. This September has been comparatively extremely nice and pleasant, basically just a slightly cooler continuation of (our admittedly very mild) August. It's 4C as of 10:00pm tonight so we could potentially drop below freezing tonight. The official forecast low is 4C but of course that seems a bit optimistic given that that's the current temperature... Snowstorms already? Wtf. Yep. They don't usually hit Saskatchewan, but southern Alberta seems to get fairly significant snowstorms in September every few years. Apparently the one coming up is going to have historic levels of snow, and the adjacent areas of the US have had a winter storm watch declared. Saskatoon is just north of the madness and we're not expecting to get hit too hard. www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/videos/gallery/historic-amounts-of-snow-on-the-table-get-the-latest-alberta-and-saskatchewan/sharevideo/6089491929001cdweather.boards.net/thread/375/snow-thread?page=29

Just had a nice thunderstorm roll by, first one in awhile. September has had pretty good storms the last few years.
Now itβs cool and sunny and feels very autumn like.
Tonight will likely be the last chance this month has to drop below 48 (9 C). Thatβs the lowest of the month so far which would be a record high. Just very stable lows as the average low is only like 1 f above average.

Today is our average first low below 50F (10C), but it hasn't fallen below 66F (19C) yet this fall.

It's getting cold out here. Our forecast high for today is only 7C, which will be our coldest high and first single-digit high since May 5th. It's also starting to feel quite dry, with a dew point of only 1C at the moment. This morning my hands and lips are feeling the first hints of dryness after months of comfortable moisture in the air.

Morningrise the storm could be historic further south in the US too. Parts of Montana are expecting a huge snowfall. Some snow isn't rare in September, but large storms are.

Another inexplicably cold night at the airport. The low was -0.7'C around midnight. At the time my house thermometer showed 4'C and my bike thermometer, which is generally pretty accurate, showed 2'C despite lacking a radiation cover and being covered in one of the thickest layers of dew I've seen this year, so the real temperature was at the very least 3'C. My apartment is in a frost hollow too and 100m away is generally a couple degrees warmer at night and you always feel the cold when biking home during clear nights like this one. Uni rooftop station was also 3'C.
Closest official SMHI station colder than UmeΓ₯ was Junsele, 200m higher up and 100 miles inland. ΓrnskΓΆldsvik and SkellefteΓ₯ had 3'C and 2'C lows respectively.
Oh and coastal JarnΓ€sklubb 50km away had a remarkable low of 10.5'C

Crunch41 I even see some spots of 48-60" and 60-72" on that map you posted for higher elevation places in Glacier NP, insane! Gonna be hot here today, 69 F as we wake up, headed up to 90 F today. Will be our 59th 90 F day of the year if it pans out. TWC is showing a high of fucking 95 F (35 C) for Wednesday, October 2nd keep in mind the all-time October record high here is 94 F(34.4 C) so that's definitely in jeopardy. Well, if it's gonna be annoyingly fucking hot, might as break some fucking records I guess.

Our forecast according to TWC, showing the 95 F (35 C) high for Wednesday , after that record-breaking day summer comes to a quick end though.

TWC says 86 for Tuesday, NWS says 84. If itβs sunny, it could easily over perform. October record is 91 which shouldnβt be threatened.
After Tuesday it goes to shit with 50s and rain for awhile. Hopefully some of those turn into nice chilly, DRY, fall days which would be welcome.
Today has been overcast all day and has only gotten to 76 (24 C) so far, well below the forecast of 81.

High of 96Β°F (36Β°C) today after a low of 73Β°F (23Β°C). Beats the old highest mean for this date by 5.5Β°F.
