The coldest its got is -2 in london lol... feel bad for all the snow lovers. Although, it would be cool to see at least one snow day instead of cold rain. That -2 was at Heathrow as well. In central London, St James's Park's coldest temp of the winter so far has been -0.4c, there are probably many places in London that haven't even seen a frost. What's the coldest its got to in the SE? -4?

Farnborough had -5.7c in December, -4.6c in January, -4.3c in February so far.
Don't think you'll find anywhere colder than those places.

We've only had 16 frosts too, when we average around 50.

Those fucken perffff derfffffs have taken over the crown from the Penroids though www.bom.gov.au/climate/dwo/IDCJDW6111.latest.shtml Good for them. May they break off the continent and sink into the fucken ocean.

In addition to the laughably warm temperatures, we're getting multi-day storms every two weeks this winter. No glorious blizzards, the rain just goes sideways for a while. Can't wait for spring.

Pretty much the same shit here, although February has been much better compared to December and January. Last October/November was pretty pleasant with many windy/sunny days and a few sharp cold fronts coming through, as opposed to unending rainfall since December (besides the cold in mid January).

There have definitely been days that have felt raw cold (days with 4-6C highs though the lows mustβve always been close to or above freezing) and there have been some clear nights but still no real cold.. easterlies these days seem to be very rare. A scenario even slightly like 2010 (although that was truly exceptional) seems to be impossible

December 2010 was a once in a lifetime event. July 2018 was closer to average than December 2010 was.

What was the coldest temp outside the UHI? (Somewhere like Hitchin, Liphook, or Chesham)

What was the coldest temp outside the UHI? (Somewhere like Hitchin, Liphook, or Chesham) Wisley got to -12c in December 2010.
Looking at frost hollows, Northolt and Farnborough both got to -14c and Chesham got to -19c. Altnaharra got to -21c.

Wisley is not outside the UHI but that's beside the point. I was asking about this winter. What's the coldest it got in Chesham this winter?

Wisley is not outside the UHI but that's beside the point. I was asking about this winter. What's the coldest it got in Chesham? Wisley is not in the UHI, and you asked for a location outside the UHI. Chesham got to -19.6c, which is the record for that station.
This winter, the frost hollows of Benson and Farnborough got to -6.7c and -5.7c respectively. They are the coldest temps of the winter in the south so far.

Do you really want to continue this nonsense? We clearly disagree and while it appears I won't be able to convince you to change your mind on this you definitely won't be able to change mine so lets just leave it.

The only nonsense has been from you. You asked me for an example of a non-UHI location, and Wisley is not in the UHI.
