Found a way to get to sunshine data from before 2002 in Sweden.
For 1991-2020, Umeå got 1778h of sunshine with 143 days of missing data between 1991-2007. Taking the average sunshine per day and multiplying it with 365.25 yields 1859h which is more reasonable considering 1961-1990 averaged 1782h and 2002-2018 1886h (this method yielded 1879h for 2002-2018, so slightly lower but pretty close).
For Visby, the sunniest station with data for the whole period, they had 2038h with 99 missing days. Using the daily average times 365.25 yields 2064h. Worth noting is that this method still yielded 30h less sunshine per year for 2002-2018 than the true value. So it's safe to say Visby averaged 2060-2100h for 1991-2020.
Edit: I found data with monthly values instead, and when replacing the two missing years 2004, and 2006, as well as 2003 and 2007 for Umeå and Visby respectively, with official data, I got 1848h for Umeå and 2071h for Visby. So there you have it, Umeå and Visby pretty officially recorded 1848h and 2071h for 1991-2020.

I gathered 1991-2020 average annual sunshine for the stations with full timeseries available on ECA-D. These figures aren't completely 100% official, so take them with a slight grain of salt. SMHI data tends to be ever so slightly sunnier on average than the data given by ECA-D, by about +0.5-1%. True figures should thus be about the same or maybe 10h higher. The 1991-2020 sunshine is compared to the 1961-1990 normal. Every station got sunnier except Gothenburg. After Gothenburg, Kiruna, Umeå and Stockholm were the stations with the least improvement. Luleå was slightly cloudier than Umeå in 1961-1990 but surpassed Umeå in 1991-2020. The greatest sunshine improvement seems to be in the Swedish inland, as well as Lund and the Baltic islands. (Svenska högarna in the Stockholm archipelago has averaged 2189h since it opened 14 years ago).

I like the 1961-1990 comparisons with 1991-2020 posted by others, so I made my own. Here is Milwaukee. The value for each box is (1991-2020) minus (1961-1990). The record highs and lows are also for each 30-year period. On average, 2.3F/1.3C/0.43% warmer and 1.62"/41.1mm/4.9% wetter. Temperatures: Lows increased more than highs. December and January saw the most warming, with April warming the least. February was the only month to see a lower temp in the recent period, but it tied the all-time record low. The average temperature of Milwaukee 1961-1990 is the same as Oshkosh 1991-2020 (70 miles north).
Precipitation: June had the largest increase, from 3.24 to 4.38 inches (+35%). March had the largest absolute decrease, but December had a slightly larger percentage decrease from 2.34 to 1.89 inches (-19%). Slight drop in precipitation days, with March and December seeing the largest decline. Snowfall trends roughly follow the precip trend.

They also published 1971-2000 and 1981-2010 data at the same time, impressively enough!

One interesting thing is that SMHI released the normals for almost every station that was active at any point since 1961, including many stations that weren't even active a single time during 1991-2020, by extrapolating based on how warm those stations used to be compared to nearby stations while active. A neat consequence of this is that you can see how warm SMHI reckons certain stations are compared to previous stations nearby. For example, in 1995 Helsingborg's station changed, and SMHI reckons that the old station would've been 0.5'C warmer than the new one annually. And the station in Linköping that closed in 1977 is estimated to be a whopping 0.7'C warmer than the station used to represent Linköping today. The old Gävle station was 0.5'C warmer than the current one, and the same goes with the old Borlänge station (with is estimated to have been even warmer than the Falun station nearby). Old Karlstad station was 0.4'C warmer, old Jönköping station was 0.8'C warmer. Sundsvall's old stations were 0.6 and 0.8'C warmer than the current airport station, and Umeå's two old stations (one was 0% UHI, and one was a medium UHI) are estimated to be 0.2'C and 0.4'C warmer than the airport station.
There are some instances of new stations having 0.1 or 0.2'C milder annual temperatures, but pretty much every single major deviation compared to old stations have been negative. The Sundsvall, Helsingborg, Jönköping and Linköping stations are the most head scratching ones.

Here’s a comparison with the other station not the east side of the city The main Fort Collins station is on top, the other one is below. Main difference is colder winters, lows, and less precipitation in the eastern station. It is also hardiness zone 5B with a mean min of -12 f instead of 6A with a mean min of -8 f. 90s and 100s happen about the same frequency but the eastern station has 8 more ice days on average (23 vs. 15).

My station's records only go back to 2002, so this is the running average.

London 1991-2020 averages using the corrected sunshine values irlinit. I received 1981-2010 averages for St James’ Park and Kew Gardens, so am going to look at these now. No sunshine data for St James’ Park, highs almost identical to Heathrow but warmer lows. Kew Gardens the same but lows cooler than Heathrow and 1,653 hours of sun so it would seem that the sun corrected figures at Heathrow seem a lot more reasonable now
