8:00PM Overcast 35 F/2 C There was a light glaze of ice this morning. The rest of the day featured a cold rain. Max temperature was 35 F/2 C and the minimum was 32 F/0 C, so very little movement. Winter Weather Advisory continues due to slippery conditions. The heaviest snowfall of the season is forecast tomorrow with up to 5 inches. The advisory may be upgraded to a warning if accumulation is heavier than expected. Yesterday's snowfall was heavier than forecast. The total amount ended up being 8 in/20 cm of heavy wet snow. A Winter Storm Warning was issued early in the afternoon as conditions deteriorated. Although it's dry today, roads still may be slippery in some spots. At 11AM it is 32 F/0 C and overcast with a biting wind (windchill around 20 F/-7 C). Forecast high is 35 F/2 C. We'll be lucky if it gets to that. |

Blizzard conditions today with very heavy snowy, high winds and cold temperatures. 12.3" (31 cm) has fallen so far on Winter Haven and temps have risen from -25 F (-32 C) at midnight to the current temperature of 0 F (-18 C).
**BLIZZARD WARNING**
A strong low pressure system is moving through the area at the moment, dropping very heavy snow with very high winds that will gust above 60 mph at times, creating huge amounts of drifting and reduced visibility. We do not recommend going outside during the storm.
Snowfall amount will generally be in the 2 to 3 foot range, with locally higher amounts especially in northern, higher elevated outlying areas.
After this low pressure system moves through, a strong trough will be moving through the region, bringing in extremely cold temperatures.

Very windy and cold right now with the passage of a cold front coming through, was snowy earlier with an additional 8" (20 cm) falling on Winter Haven this morning. Wind chill advisory is in effect until 2 PM tomorrow.
Also, I know the snow depth seems alarming in my climate lol. That's the snow depth that's measured at the airport in an undisturbed field, the snow depth on roads/sidewalks and surrounding areas is obviously much lower.

I think my dream climate's averages might be comparable to that in late Nov. Coincidentally, Oymyakon hit -61F on the 24th, the coldest Nov temp in many years there. |

To be honest it's actually way below the averages for this time of year for my climate, which at the end of November they're more like -1/-20 (in F). Winter Haven is having a brutal late November cold snap, next few days will be seeing highs of about -55 F (-48 C) and lows between -65 F and -70 F (-54 C and -57 C). To give you an idea, the coldest max ever recorded in November is -64 F (-53 C) and the record low is -80 F (-62 C). 11/25: -5/-29; Clearing and getting colder, temps dropping throughout the day 4:00 PM Temp: -39 F (-39 C) Conditions: Ice Fog/Clear Wind: NNW at 9 mph Dew Point: -41 F (-41 C) Wind Chill: -63 F (-53 C) Snow Depth: 128.4" (326 cm) Today's high was -30 F (-34 C) at 4 AM, temp has been slowly dropping as the day progresses.
