Average day in the Jacarandopolis Metropolitan Area. The Pacific Breeze is tempering coastal temperatures a bit, so the difference between coast and inland is much less than you would expect. A predicted high of only 13C downtown! The extreme dry pattern continues, altho nothing abnormal since winter is the dry season...
Jacarandopolis
11C Very clear skies 70% humidity Breeze from the Ocean is keeping temperatures down a little bit
Buenos Perthes
10C Clear sky 55% humidity

The residents of Winter Haven are enduring a severely cold winter this year, but there does appear to be some moderation back to average towards the end of January. That cold front reminds me of one that happened last December, check out Liberal, KS. Went from 71 F (22 C) to 5 F (-15 C) in 24 hours. Fucking epic! www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KLBL/2016/12/17/DailyHistory.html?req_city=&req_state=&req_statename=&reqdb.zip=&reqdb.magic=&reqdb.wmo=

Just checked out some other places in the region for that cold snap. Fucking awesome. Las Animas, Colorado had a 69/2 (21/-17 C) day on the 17th with 15โ (38 cm) of snow and then a 8/-28 (-13/-33 C) day on the 18th! Elkhart, Kansas wasnโt far behind dropping from a high of 73 (23 C) on the 17to a high of 9 (-13 C) on the 28th! Rochester hasnโt recorded close to -28 and 69 isnโt usually seen until late March or early April and las animas gets that change in 1 fucking day. The central plains has some awesome climates.

As much as I dislike the inconsistent cold of the Front Ranges, I think I would enjoy their climate regardless because of the wild swings. Must be a lot of fun living somewhere like that as a weather enthusiast. Of course, I'd enjoy the temperature drops much more than the temperature spikes. 12/21: -71/-84; Extremely cold with ice fog 7:25 PM Temp: -78 F (-61 C) Conditions: Ice Fog/Clear Wind: Calm Dew Point: -78 F (-61 C) Snow Depth: 180.7" (459 cm) Low was -85 F (-65 C) this morning and the high was -72 F (-58 C), low tonight predicted at -85 F (-65 C) once again.
