An astonishing 24" (61 cm) of snow has fallen in the past four hours. Total whiteout conditions with very high winds. Snowfall totals are up to 37.1" (94 cm) for the storm already with a lot more to come. Thundersnow has also been reported at the airport on six different occasions already at the airport from this storm.

It's actually continental, as May and September both have means above 10 C. Very close to the border of subarctic though.
