Sick to hell of cold weather as I am, I'm skipping the northern cities of New Florida, and cutting straight to the south. Southern locations at 11AM:
Harleyford (15.8Β°N): 27.7Β°C, few clouds. Max of 30Β°C. The o-night low was 20.7Β°C. Stolton City (14.7Β°N): 31.3Β°C, clear. Max of 33Β°C. Low of 24.2Β°C.

2.) January 10 - 17, 2018: -93.0 F (-69.4 C)Seems kind of cheap using periods only 2 days apart with several overlapping days. Guess it technically counts, but then one extreme cold snap could just take over the top 5 or 6 spots if it was long enough. 1/19: High 65 Low 32 β
οΈ Time: 8:20 PM Temperature: 33 (1 C) Conditions: freezing rain Dew Point: 32 (0 C) Wind: NW 5-10 mph Synopsis: The high was 40 (4 C), the low is expected to be in the low 20s. **WINTER STORM WARNING** In effect 8 PM Saturday to 6 AM Monday. Freezing rain will transition to heavy snow Saturday night. Total sow fall of up to a foot (30 cm) of snow is expected at 4500β, with 2-3β possible up in the mountains. If if I remember, Iβll post some totals tomorrow or Monday.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but the January 12 - 19 period was more of the "meat" of the coldest part of the cold snap than the January 10 - 17 period, that's why I decided to include it.

^ Sounds like a South FL summer morning, lol.
**BLIZZARD WARNING**
A very strong surface low is approaching from the southwest, which will reach the area by late tomorrow evening (Monday, January 22). The low pressure will draw in much milder air from the south, but is bringing a lot of moisture with it in the form of heavy snow. This low pressure system will also bring very strong winds to the area, causing very low visibility or zero visibility, some of the strongest snow squalls will have near hurricane-force winds and snowfall rates approaching 7" per hour. Due to very high amounts of mid and upper level convection with a lot of these snow squalls, lightning and thunder will be a near certainty, so thundersnow will be associated with this storm. Snowfall amounts are predicted to be in the 18-36" range, with higher amounts localized in some spots, especially in the south-central part of the metro area.
DANGERS....low visibility, very heavy snow, high winds, lightning/thunder, low wind chills
Snowfall amounts....generally in the 18-36" range, with some localized spots getting over 40"
