Much colder today than yesterday as a cold front came through the area, this rain will mix with snow later on. 1.25" (32 mm) of rain has fallen today so far.

**WINTER STORM WARNING**

A strong low pressure system coming in from the north will make it's way into the area later on today, dragging in cold air with it which in turn will bring heavy snow to the region. The snow will be very heavy at times and whiteout conditions will occur from time to time. Some of the heaviest snow squalls will bring snowfall rates up to 6-7" an hour. Due to the heavier nature of the storm than what was expected, predicted snowfall amounts have increased from 8-15" to 14-24", with locally heavier amounts. Winds will also be quite strong with winds of 40-60 mph expected, and hurricane force gusts. Please take precaution if you are out.

Over 6 in/15 cm of snow fell between yesterday and this morning. Now it's just a very cold, wet, raw afternoon. Tomorrow is forecast to dry out with sunshine but it'll still be chilly with highs in the 30s. 

4/28: 69/33; Falling temperatures throughout the day with rainfall, snow mixing in late. 2.34" (60 mm) of rain recorded and 0.9" (2 cm) of snow recorded. Windy as well, as the max wind gust was 70 mph (113 kph)
