Spring version of this thread cdweather.boards.net/thread/2242/boston-logan-record-first-freezebeen stuck in a cool cloudy pattern and Boston is more moderated from warmth on sunny days than inland, especially Logan which is on the coast. Meteorologist calculated the answer a few days ago, but things might change Average high on May 20 is 68°F, reaches 70°F on May 27. Much past May 20 seems really unlikely

Technically, it was January 11th. Voted May 5-10.

Besides that 74°F day on January 11th, I will say that May 5-10th will be when the first 70°F day will occur there.

I'm gonna say May 11-15th. May 13th to be exact. Start of May looks like mainly low 60s for highs.

it interestingly looks like Las Vegas will reach 100°F before Boston hits 70°F again

The GFS is showing Boston pushing 70F on May 3 and 4, so I'm going to go with then. Also, it's worth noting Boston did hit 70F in March along with January, so this won't be their first 70F in any real sense. It's sort of like in 2017 when OKC hit 90F in March, but didn't get that warm again until late May.
