Temperatures above 70ยฐF had reached southern Ontario/Quebec, with some stations in NJ approaching/reaching 80ยฐF today, quite impressive for early November. As of 3 PM EST:

Big pool of heat that stubbornly won't make its way down here. However, it's great to see all those cold fronts dying.

Interesting, nothing even close to that here. It was actually quite a pleasant day: dome blue sky, temperature about 8ยฐC, and no wind to speak of. Rain on the way tomorrow with snow possible above 200 meters elevation. Vancouver could see a rain-snow mix Monday evening; Squamish area could see accumulating snow at sea level.

Definitely blizzarding in Saskatoon tonight, we've had several inches of snow accumulate since this afternoon (although part of that might be due to snow drifts rather than actual precipitation amount). Travel is not recommended on much of the provincial highway system, and a couple sections of the Trans Canada Highway through the south of the province have been closed. It will be interesting to see the aftermath of all this tomorrow.

Very different here, or at my dad's place. 6-7C highs and now -1.6C in Turku (!) Monday morning is the coldest in Latvia since spring. The airport of Riga has recorded -2C. In the city center, at the Latvian University's weather station, it hasn't gone below 2C, technically still no first frost there. Partly sunny and 8.5C at 1 p.m. in Riga. Wind from SW 3 meters per second, pressure 1030 hPa, humidity 70%.

Well that was a true blizzard! Transit shut down, school cancelled today due to the snow (first time since the massive of blizzard of 2007, I believe), there's a video of a road grader stuck on the freeway in the snow, the sidewalk outside my place got "shovelled" by someone with in a skid-steer loader, and this morning it's -19C with a -28C windchill. Some real winter weather right there.

Most of Latvian weather stations have gone a bit below freezing, except the one in the city center of Riga and coastal weather stations: Riga Latvian University, Liepฤja, Ventspils, Kolka.
High has been 9.6C in Riga.

The past week has been warmer than normal with highs in the 70s F and lows in the 50s F. It's been cloudy sometimes, but we haven't gotten any precipitation since the ice storm. It's so weird how we were basically at peak winter for a few days in October, and then we went straight back to mid-fall-like weather. But right now it's about 68F/20C and overcast, so it doesn't feel quite as warm. The peak of fall foliage happened around Election Day or the day after, but a good number of trees still have leaves on them.

Forecast of 22C in Montreal tomorrow. That could challenge the monthly record.
Reached 25C here yesterday and today with shit air quality (haze, etc). This garbage can't end soon enough.

We're having somewhat similar weather (20-23'C since last Tuesday each day) but our reactions are totally opposite. I love it. Tomorrow we get our reality check, but at least it should come with some good thunderstorms, fun to watch and bringing some much-needed rainfall.

Today picked up 3.6โ (9 cm) of snow, well above the forecast which was a nice surprise.
There was light snow much of the day with a few heavier periods where visibility dropped to 1/4 mile or so.
Meanwhile, Shitchester smashed its daily record, reaching 77 (25 c) which is the warmest ever so late.
