I'm a bit anxious about how my plants will fare during the next couple of months of barely any sunshine at all. All of my plants are plants that want a lot of sunshine, and right now it's exactly local noon, and with the thick rain clouds and low sun, it's so dark that a camera has to have a 1/15 to 1/50 shutterspeed with 100 ISO and 1/2.4 aperture to expose correctly.

Europe is getting a break from the warm pattern as a cold front pushes through late week. Places in central/southern France & northern/central Italy are also getting their first frosts as well.

Nov 16th we had a high/low 14.5C/10.4C with 24-hr mean 12.5C, which is rare especially in the second half of November. Nov 15th had mean 10.5C.
Thursday and Friday will be much colder.
Large deviation inland far north where Kautokeino had 24-hr avg 3.1C when the normal avg for that day is -9.5C, so 12.6C above avg.

We haven't had a high below 58°F/14.5°C since a day after the ice storm. Nor have we had a freeze since that storm. It's weird how we had such a powerful cold snap, but it's been mostly above normal since then. We may have some cooler highs this Sunday and Monday, but it should still exceed 50°F/10°C.
