High was 89 (32 c), probably the warmest until May or June. There was some haze but nothing like the previous few weeks.

The bulk of the smoke has left us, but it's still been hazier than normal these past few days. I wonder if we'll get some of that smoke plume in five days. how long had you had smoke? Arrived here yesterday evening. I first noticed it on Thursday or so. But it mostly just looks like this, so it's not too bad. You can just tell that the sky isn't as clear as usual.
We've been under the light brown area on the smoke concentration map a lot.

Where do you find this map? Today the thick haze was back, couldnโt even see the mountains. You could still see the sun though and the sky just looked bright white rather than blue, pretty different from the thick smoke Labor Day weekend. It still kept the temps down a lot, today only got to 75 (24 c). |

The sun was red/orange today behind the thick smoke. You guys just don't know how thick it is here. Couldn't even see the sun at all over the weekend.

Well below freezing in Northern PA. UHI in full swing around the city, 41F in the city and all suburban and rural surrounding areas reaching the mid to upper 30s.
