Wrap around moisture/lake effect piled up another 1.3" overnight. What a December, over 21" of snow this month.

Yeah it's cold up there. Yellowknife airport had a low of -44.2C this morning. I have to search through the data on Env Canada, but I think that might be the coldest since 2009.

Umeå had 150 seconds of sunshine a couple days ago. Stockholm still hasn't recorded a single second of sun since the 10 minutes they recorded om the 28th of November.

Just under a foot (30 cm) of snow from this week's storm so on the lower end of the forecasted range. Some of the snowdrifts were impressive though. A very solid snowstorm for December.
No sign of melting especially considering this morning's low was -2 F/-19 C. Not sure the last time we dropped below zero in December...maybe at the end of 2017 during a cold snap.

Apparently we just had a snow squall move through town, a very rare event for us. I completely missed it as I was taking a nap at the time, but when I woke up and checked the weather we had nearly 70km/h winds.

Sunndalsøra only got 14.0'C put of the forecast 17'C. Tafjord got 17.0'C though.
