Good morning Lots of storms in the US now. California is getting socked with rain and mountain snow. The upper Midwest is going to see some heavy snow; with Chicago, southern Wisconsin, and western Michigan seeing several inches. Tornado inducing line of storms extending from Southern Missouri into east Texas. Ice in the Ohio valley. I should see about 3โ tonight, on top of 2โ yesterday from a lake effect band. Then some cold sunny days. Friday looks perfect for taking a trip up to Higgins lake for ice skating .

London's getting some snow, too. looks cozy. Some Americans are replying with " why aren't people wearing masks?!"
This is the first I thought. Not convinced about the answers/justifications, though.

Big winter storm for the west coming tonight. Vegas and Tucson both have snow forecast, Redding has 4-10โ predicted, and up to 10 feet of snow is forecast in the sierras.
Were too far East and only have an inch or two of snow forecast and an unimpressive 25/10 f day tomorrow.

More frozen precip in Phoenix than Vancouver this winter...what a joke. Yeah I cannot believe this. What an insidious, evil joke nature has played out here.

According the NWS Albuquerque, this was the first time in the office's history that they've issued a snow squall warning.

Good morning WWF: The midwest Snowstorm has passed slightly north of Chicago and is hammering west Michigan. East coast storm has dipped further south than expected thereby causing the NYC area to miss out on much of the snow. Storms out west dumping heavy snow In Oregon & California highlands, and even in some inland cities as well like Medford and Redding. Moderate snow here. 2-3โ on the ground with 3โ of additional accumulation today โ๏ธ โ๏ธ โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ๐.

Everyone getting exciting weather, meanwhile back at the ranch.....82 F (27.8 C) with a 64 F (17.8 C) dew point here with sunny skies. Predicted high for today is 84 F (28.9 C) which is actually knocked down a few pegs from the original 88-89 F (31-32 C) that I was seeing in the forecast for today a few days ago. Tomorrow will be downright hot, 88 F (31.1 C) predicted .

It has snowed all day in Riga, but it has been more like a mix of snow and rain with a low of -0.4C and a high of 1.1C, so there is no significant snow accumulation, the snow cover is 4 cm at 8 p.m.
