Below average temperatures continue in Jacarandopolis the next week, with a shocking cold blast. Many days with single digit highs; a rarity in the Jacarandopolis region. A bone-chilling 7C high is predicted for the middle of next week; nearly 10C below average! The Jacarandas will be safe and alive however as the lows will stay above freezing thanks to the UHI. Western parts of the city will see some temperature inversions, hence why elevated suburbs like Buenos Perthes and Latte Purchase will not record daily frosts as is common in a cold pattern. Southern inland locations like Asianfoodeaux and Tinderville will have average highs similar to the downtown station Looks like this will be one for the record books, one of the coldest Januaries in Jacarandopolis history! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA nice naming though I bet their summer's too hot?!

Yep, and I did the first 80 years or so handwritten lol. This is something I've been working on though for like nine years, so it's not as shocking as you might think. For like 2009-2010, I would do like 2-3 months of data a day until I caught up with the year. I really had no life back in those days, I'm glad I caught up to the year because I would have no time to do this shit nowadays lol. I think 2009 was when I started making daily climate spreadsheets, I'm only doing 30 years for each city though, but initially wanted to do 30 years for each city in New Florida. It's hard because I have to work out the what the climate would be like as realistically as possible. Also it's taking forever. Only one of 30 cities so far has complete temp and rain data. But it's not like I want to be doing it all the time lol. I just realised that 30 years for each city would mean 900 years! Holy shit. I only started recording them this year, but I've been doing the forecasts for 3 years. Northlake is a SH mediterranean/continental mix and Blocktown is a NH humid subtropical climate, similar to Dallas.

It's the day before the last day of the 15-day forecast, so it's time for a new one!
Synopsis: Snowstorm/blizzard occurring on the 10th/11th, followed by rapidly dropping temperatures on the 12th. Brutal cold snap will occur on the 13th-17th that will challenge, and possibly break records, although the cold snap won't be nearly as long-lived as the January cold snap. Warming up rapidly on the 19th before it turns seasonably cold on the 20th-22nd and then close to average at the end of the forecast. (Not within this 15-day forecast) but models are hinting at another cold snap occurring at the end of February/beginning of March. It's just one of those winters in Winter Haven...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday (2/10): Moderate snow in the morning, becoming heavier as the day progresses. Winds will also pick up and there will be blowing snow a good deal of the time and drifting/low visibility. Winds out of the E at 15-25 mph in the AM, increasing to 35-50 mph in the PM, gusts will be near hurricane force. Snowfall totals 18-30", with locally heavier spots. High: -20 Low: -32
Sunday (2/11): Very heavy snow in the morning, becoming a bit lighter in the afternoon before tapering off in the evening hours and overnight. Clearing overnight and becoming colder. Winds will be out of the E at 35-50 mph in the morning with near hurricane force gusts, calming down to 20-30 mph in the PM and then 10-20 mph overnight. Snowfall totals will be an additional 15-27", with locally heavier spots. High: -21 Low: -44
Monday (2/12): Clearing off early, before becoming totally clear in the afternoon and evening. Sharply colder. Winds out of the NW at 10-15 mph becoming calmer overnight. High: -37 Low: -76
Tuesday (2/13): Extremely cold with heavy ice fog, winds becoming calm. High: -76 Low: -91
Wednesday (2/14): Record breaking cold, with thick ice fog. Calm winds. High: -87 Low: -98
Thursday (2/15): Extreme, record breaking cold with thick ice fog. Calm winds. High: -88 Low: -99
Friday (2/16): Extreme, record breaking cold with thick ice fog. Calm winds. High: -87 Low: -99
Saturday (2/17): Bitterly cold, but not quite as cold, temperatures remaining steady overnight. High: -76 Low: -79
Sunday (2/18): Becoming much milder in the afternoon with a southerly air flow, snow showers moving in late in the PM and temperatures remaining steady overnight. 1-3" of snow expected. High: -40 Low: -44
Monday (2/19): Overcast and seasonably cold with snow showers, snow will be light to moderate all day. Winds out of the NE at 10-20 mph, snow accumulating 3-5". High: -24 Low: -33
Tuesday (2/20): Overcast and seasonably cold with snow showers, snow will be light to moderate all day. Winds out of the NE at 15-25 mph, snow accumulating 3-6". High: -24 Low: -34
Wednesday (2/21): Clearing out and becoming milder and very seasonable. Winds will shift from NE to W in the late morning hours. Sunny/clear in the PM. High: -10 Low: -28
Thursday (2/22): Seasonable and clear with calm winds. Freezing fog in spots in the morning. High: -10 Low: -29
Friday (2/23): Seasonable and clear with calm winds. Ice fog will be present in the normally colder spots and frost hollows. High: -11 Low: -29
Saturday (2/24): A bit colder and becoming overcast with snow showers in the afternoon. Winds shifting from W to NW at 10-15 mph, snow accumulating 2-3". High: -17 Low: -33
Averages on 2/10 are -14/-31 and on 2/24 they're -6/-26 (wasn't doing the averages for the past few forecasts because the averages between 20 December and 10 February tend to be similar more or less).

Good god, how does Winter Haven function during the winter? You must have some epic snow removal equipment and an ability to deal with such long-lasting severe cold!
